So, 97 years of unbroken league football being played in Chesterfield comes to an end tonight.

What a disaster, what a calamity, what an embarrassment and what an absolute indictment of those running our club!

A sad, sad day.

That's what happens when a club is run by greed and not passion.

But the happy clappers will still be there and clapping, even when they do a lap of honour! -Want to send a message- everyone walk out on 75mins-let them play to an empty stadium for the last 15mins and see how that feels at the final whistle.
BUT AS WITH ANY TOWN PROTEST IT WON'T HAPPEN

Absolutely.not a squeak from anyone.
I know its football, strange things happen.but this has been manufactured from the top.
As ive said before,im disabled and limited to what i can do when it comes to protests etc.
That makes it even more frustrating seeing the lack of fight the fans at the club have.
In the words of delia smith (but more sober!) WHERE ARE YOU?

I said my goodbyes to league football on Saturday. I was going to go but since decided that I would go to Clay Cross Town game. They have three games to play this week tonight Thursday and Saturday. The players won't complain of been tired they will give 100% and they have an outside chance of winning the league. RIP Chesterfield Fc and thanks for ruining our club AC and DA.

I can’t be bothered driving a long way to see a pointless defeat. I am protesting with my wallet

For what ? We lie in tatters nothing happens the club will still have Allen and Carson plummeting us even further down the ladder blaming fans because 7000 didn't turn up to watch Town v Havant and Waterlooville

I find myself looking around the place thinking that I now live in a non-league town.

They have brought shame and embarrassment to the town.

A sad night tonight, watching the players out on the pitch at the end of the game, getting half hearted claps from the few people left in the crowd. It's all part of supporting your hometown club, if you want glory year after year then go to Man Utd or City or Chelsea, but it's nights like this that make the good times so much sweeter.

People haven't staged protests for one reason; deep down they know it is pointless. The owner doesnt attend. End of story. People can scream Carson out as much as they like but are missing the main point - Allen.

Just to reiterate then.....
If the game had been played on 2/4/18 with same results, we would have overtaken Grimsby on goal difference with 2 games in hand, third from bottom. This shows the level of ineptitude which surrounded Jack, and is still in place.

Not definitive of course but the probability of us beating Newport and Grimsby losing at Wycombe must surely have been quite high.
Get it on, bang the gong , get it on
