Spoke to Whitmore at FFR and he was saying that he is here next season and at FT he was crying his eyes out

He might be ok. Not sure about Maguire though

What a bizarre player Jack McCourt is. I said early season he was a poor signing and then ate humble pie on here as he had a month where he played really well, scored some goals and became a kop favourite. He then regressed to his previous form. The odd thing was that he played well for a month!

Tbh any respect i had for him went last week at forest green, the look he gave us fans as we expressed our displeasure spoke volumes, and then to find out he spat towards a group, ..what can ya say!
all we are saying, is give us ...a goal, or 2+

Out of all of Caldwell’s signings, I don’t there is one that stands out as worth keeping if you had the option of releasing them.

ok caldwells signings (not including loans)
anyon - poor
barry - poor
wiseman - frustrating
Williams - frustrating
weir - no comment
sinnott- not seen enough
ugwu - not seen enough
o'grady - o'dear
McCourt - dreadful

McCourt is one of the worst players ever to grace the CFC turf. What a waste of a wage. Just clear the lot out and start again. Perhaps keep Drew Evo and Whitmore the rest please just **** off.

As Evatt said, 'They gave me everything today.'

That's been the problem. They've given everything and it's not been good enough. I fear for next season if the majority of this lot are here next season because I don't believe they are good enough for the Conference either. Whoever comes in to sort out a competitive team for next season, never mind a promotion winning one, will simply be handed the poison chalice.

A good start would be for the owner to make an appearance and give a positive statement that would lift morale.

Spot on.

For any talk of individual players being responsible we've endured a double drop because talent has been sold - or simply allowed to leave - and replaced by kids, crocks and cast offs.

As for a 'positive statement' from Allen I'd guess the only thing folk really wanna hear is 'CFC sold'.

His performances would suggest so.

Barry out next, please. Exactly the type of fraud we need rid of.

Barry had a decent game yesterday because he was played as a wing back.

So did Binnon-Williams, funny enough.

I agree there needs to be a massive clear-out, though.

Most players under contract should be invited to find another club but, also, be told that we are not giving them any financial recompense if they wish to terminate their contracts as they have already been overpaid for their services.

Some of these players will not want to play in the NL on reduced wages and, no doubt, have already alerted their agents.

The league table statistics suggest that all we need to do is strengthen the goalkeeping position, defence, midfield and attack and we should be alright next season.

The main position that needs strengthening is the Boardroom...

I bet Louis Dodds is the one with the relegation clause. It would have been a Jan signing as we were in the doo doo then. Dodds just stands out as being the obvious candidate.

He is along I'm told with Smith which is odd as he was signed for an undisclosed fee

In that case, you would hope any fee was dependant on CFC retaining our league status.
Well, you hope.

Well, you hope.

Perhaps it's just a sell on clause. That could be construed as a conditional 'fee'.

He looked a solid player yesterday. Gritty and tenacious.
Get it on, bang the gong , get it on

Allen would be wise to consider an investment - removing this dross form the books.

Can’t stand Jack McCourt. Woeful player who thinks he’s better than he is. His defending is nothing short of pathetic

Saying the same yesterday. A Sunday league footballer at best. I've played against better than him in parks in and around Leicester.

not sure why evo would have started him today though given that, whitmore is a name that has previously been suggested and he did not start today...

I thought Dodds showed more energy yesterday than in his previous appearances for us

Not that it would be difficult mind you :windup

Yes Kay was sat behind me at Grimsby

I asked him if he was injured and he grunted not selected today and left it at that

Yet, I am sure JL said he got him on a free transfer.

Perhaps, the undisclosed bit involves "sell-ons" etc.

Smith, for me, seems a decent LB and one I would want to keep.
