Not surprised its took you 11 yrs you were always crap when you were in the League.

A club as similar in stature as our own it would impossible to find.

Certainly no more ‘crap’ than us.

Wrexham are certainly a much bigger club than at least half of the clubs in League 2 IMO. I thought they might go up this season but they’ve fell away after Christmas.

I don't hear and read much sympathy from our neighbours and to be honest, I would not expect it. If the ball was on the other foot there wouldn't be from us.

Although far more complex, it would appear from a distance that we have lived above our means and have paid the price.

You would be surprised at how many Stags fans aren’t loving the fact you’re going down. Most are genuinely sympathetic to your plight, and we aren’t exactly having a great season either. Most of us are just genuine football fans who would rather you be in league two than Morecambe etc.

Regardless of how good or bad they were in the league, my abiding memory of Wrexham fans was them applauding and congratulating us as we walked out of Saltergate and back to our car after the F.A. Cup quarter-final. Very gracious, unlike your comment.

Really? Remind me the highest level Chesterfield have ever played if you would.

A FA cup semi final rings a bell, now remind me what team we saw off in the quarters......

In answer to your question the old second division, but let's be fair you shouldn't even be in the English leagues

Bt sport dont cover it well they are a joke. Get players names wrong in the highlights and show the same 2-3 teams every time a game is televised. Chesterfield will be on alot im sure. Whilst some may mock national league clubs theres some in the football league worse like carlisle and grimsby. Boreham woods not a bad ground and the fans dont have thus billy big bollck we are a proper ex football league club attitude. Its good to see them doing well with a young manager. Nastiest cockiest and luckyiest team, dover athletic!

Wrexham are almost English. Much better than the their southern countrymen.

I lay face down in there during the second half as it was far more appealing than enduring that pile of horse **** being served up on the pitch.

What a ludicrous comment.

Wrexham, both home and away, are one of the very few positives I can see from being in the National League.

Not a big positive, granted, but they are certainly a club I'll enjoy locking horns with again.

I don’t go to many away games and was shocked by the lack of effort to actually try and win that game. They hadn’t won for 20 games so let’s defend and try to hit them on the break

Hemel Hempstead from the south look the closest if they come up. Averaging about 550 this season.

Looking at the teams in the division, it looks quite a competitive and even division. My big concern is if we don't get the right boss, with the right signings and the right style of play, we will be in for a rude awakening next year.

At least if they come up I will be able to walk to one game if I can be bothered to go...
