Best away trip will be Solihufll moors the ground is crap but it's proper non league and the people who run it are great.
The away support from the southern clubs is awful maidenhead brought 19 to the shay.Oh the refereeing standard is shocking even the commentators on by sport continually say how bad it is.
Best thing about it is it's a lot easier to go away less restrictions you just turn up.

😂 I don't know why I'm laughing at this because we are in a rate mess! Nonetheless, it had me in stitches...
Since our fall into non league, two things have really surprised me: 1. Just how supportive local team's fans have been..I'm talking Wednesday, Blades, Barnsley, Rotherham, even some Stags. 2. How welcoming you lot from non league have been. Cheers for making the effort.

Given almost everyone has said the same about the football required to succeed it probably makes sense to listen.

I don't hear and read much sympathy from our neighbours and to be honest, I would not expect it. If the ball was on the other foot there wouldn't be from us.
Although far more complex, it would appear from a distance that we have lived above our means and have paid the price.

Ah, Boreham Wood, The club who charge visiting clubs a premium to allow radio commentary of the game to be transmitted. Yes, I kid you not. Some clubs rightly tell them to fook off.

Tip. Forget any idea of being the big fish in this division, it counts for nowt. Butchers, bakers, candlestick makers will take great delight in smash and grab raids for the points at your place, aided by a diabolical standard of refereeing.
Away support numbers of between 0 and 100 are commonplace. Oh and the added bonus of entering the FA Cup at the 4th round qualifying stage and being knocked out by a bus stop from the back of beyond.
On the plus side, BT Sport cover the division really well showing many games live.
Not surprised its took you 11 yrs you were always crap when you were in the League.

Agree about the refs. Every NL or NL north game Ive seen has had either a prima donna or an easily intimidated kid in charge.

Thanks for this RubyRed. You remind me of the POWs who greet Richard Attenborough at the prison camp in "The Great Escape"

Now, how often do the Stewards at Dover search for tunnels?
