I'm not quite sure why but I've bought tickets to go and see the Rolling Stones at Old Trafford in June.

Not sure I can even make it or that I want to spend £182.25 on it even if I can but I've done it now.

Is that per ticket???

No. Both including all the fees. Upper tier of East Stand in the middle block. Stage is at the Stretford End so it'll be directly ahead. A long way away.

I'll keep options open. I'm sure I'll be able to get rid nearer the time.

I’m sure you will, that’s a heck of a lot of money to be that far away though.

Loads of happy folk in this article, and I bet their families are equally joyful.

If you mess with pills you should know the risks, if ur doing drugs without researching them first that's on you. All I see is happy people at festivals, raves etc unless you've had too much in which case that's same as booze. Obv u see ppl in k-holes n that but if ur thick enough to do ketamine in public places (or just in general) u deserve it tbh

Not putting em on a pedestal like there's obvious drawbacks like there is for anything like booze or too much snap. How many ppl are dying from heart disease due to shocking diets for example? It just happens more gradually.

It's the price you'd expect really. Looking at gig prices, you can pay £30+ for someone who had one top five hit in the 90s so I don't think it's that bad.

I know he had a radio show, but thats usually just plaing songs off the set play list anyway.

in effect, it sounds like a glorified PA, akin to Ken Barlow doing Zanzibar back in the day!

Well I doubt he will be doing much mixing and scratching, but I assume he is pretty proficient at DJing the old school way.

The free gig at the Avenue on Saturday is priced up at £16.50 for their Derby show.

Decent gesture by the Avenue (and Bowie experience), they are trying really hard to make it work there.

Pat sharp did have a couple of hits but is mainly there as a gimmick to pull the punters in i reckon. But 80s nights are big business. Who knows we may see some hotties dressed in clothes of there youth. Still live music. Atomic are a fully live 80s tribute not just 2 blokes on a keyboard. They had a good sound and light show in a pub so will be even better in the avenue
