New owners will see how bad Carson has been surely

He'll leave instantly. He comes with Allen, not the club.

I wonder how Allen feels about the dismissed interest Sweden now.

I think decent, genuine and professional people usually attract like-minded individuals in the same way that crooks attract crooks.

True enough, though Gilts are used more to de-risk. Returns way in excess of 7% are widely available out there, though obviously not guaranteed. I can see why foreign investors would want to invest in football clubs much higher up the pyramid, so-called sleeping giants, but a club such as ours? Exactly what boxes does it tick from a legitimate investment perspective?

Depending on the price we’re not the worst football investment. In the centre of the country with ready built (and expandable) facilities, 8000 plus crowds achieved in recent history, if an investor could throw a bit at it to get to the holy grail of the Championship then they could probably get a return on their cash.

How much is bornmuff worth as an established premier league club??

Maybe just coincidence, but its funny how newcastle announce the sale of the club on the same day as town reveal a potential buyer, its a long shot, but you never know.
all we are saying, is give us ...a goal, or 2+

I'm pretty sure the Ashley stuff (Mike) is just folk adding two (him quitting Newcastle) plus two (Sports Direct HQ being local-ish) plus two (Town being up for grabs) and getting, well, zero.

Another two plus two might be a CEO previously associated with oversees owners arriving at Town quickly followed by supposed interest from oversees owners...

Are there any stats on whether overseas investors are generally good or disastrous?!

The fact that we have a group willing to come in and invest compared to one in place that is ticking over and keeping the club going has got to be a positive.

There hasn't exactly been a rush of people coming forward.

New Investment, new owners, a debt free club with an owner wanting to be here, a team under a manager with the full backing of everyone connected with the club, best xmas present in years, bring it on
