not my kind of thing but I really enjoyed it. crowd was well up for it, first time id been there & it felt like a gig.
now if they could just get the bar situation sorted.

Reminded me of been at rock city and good to see a few on the balcony

As ssid above far too many new venues in places like chesterfield go for the safe acts, ska, mod, brit pop etc who were never massive years ago and are just nostalgic acts now. Maybe cheaper, maybe more crowd pullers. I aint a die hard skindred fan but glad i went and i am glad this stuff pulled in the punters and hopefully a springboard for similiar acts. Haysee dixe will be intresting

hayseed Dixie will be a disaster.
saw them earlier in year in sheff, fantastic feel good band. outstanding musicians.
but they pull in crowds of 500=600. night before town they play leeds brudenell, 450 capacity.

maybe so but you don't keep an 1800 cap club open by having crowds of 5-600.

with all the freaks, weirdos & fancy dressers he would have fitted in well.
it wasn't really my thing & I probably wont go & see them again but they were very good at what they did & I did enjoy it.
as I said 1st time ive been there & its felt like a proper gig.

went to see !!! (chk chk chk) at leeds brudenell sunday night & that was my gig of the year.

I have some right wing views and some left, I make my own mind up on individual issues

Love Braggs poetic love songs and always held a torch for the BS since they did a benefit gig for the miners at the Leisure Centre in Shirebrook.
