This why jack was the right man at the right time, the club has been in a slump since cook left, boring managers banging out the same old cliches, fans leaving in droves, no direction on the pitch, yet, within hrs of jack being confirmed and his 1st pitch side interview (wearing official cfc merchandise, what a guy!) He has us all sitting on the edge of our seats, actually looking forward to a game, fans returning even in the knowledge that those players he has to work with need more than guidance, no other man on the planet could have given this club the lift it needed like jack has, the club does seem to have a future again now.... can't wait to welcome him home.
all we are saying, is give us ...a goal, or 2+

Watched a few YouTube clips last night to remind myself of how good a player Jack actually was.

I think and hope we'll be saying the same in 10 years time about his time as manager.
I go on another forum and they can't quite grasp the level of adulation we have for him... He was always too good for us, and we all knew it, yet he stayed, as he said in his interview he doesn't know why it was so special, it just was and now IS again.
He loves us (and often used phrase in football "He loves the club" but this love is genuine) and the feeling is mutual.
I'm insanely emotional this morning!!

I think the enthusiasm for Jack's return is based largely on us remembering when we had a proper football club to support , and wanting so desperately to get back to that. Let's hope he can make it happen!

Win, lose or draw I will be backing Jack no matter how long it takes because he has the best interests of the club at heart. Let's hope that he can work a miracle with limited funds and a team he has inherited but even if he can't turn the team around I will never be shouting Jack out because he is a legend.

What we all need to do is get behind jack like we will and if does got pear shaped again our anger is directed at the 2 people it should be aimed at not jack.

As much as I love a Jack I wasn't impressed with his selection, formation or substitutions today.
It's very early days but he will do well to polish this turd...
