We did.

At school.

When we were eight.

A football ground where you couldn't shout anything stereotypical, offensive (not racism) would be a very very dull place

Love the Stone Roses but I still can't see how the lyrics fit in to Made of Stone!

Guys it's 2017

Sad that comments on here along the 'women's football ....joke' and "race card" are being spouted by usual suspects.

There's instances of inappropriate behaviour, racial comments and the like here.
You think it's accceotable because it's football?

The guy is a complete jerk. Had it very cushy in his job and made some stupid choices.

It's okay to call town a joke but not women's football when its arguable that both are equally as **** - world's gone mad end of. As is the covering up of the Tranmere flags at the England game, as is people moaning about the Lukaku song. Some people would literally find something to be offended at in an empty room nowadays.

Like your contribution but this's is where perhaps your arguement is flawed:-

England women's team are 3rd ranked in the World (that's all the countries put together).
They also finished 3rd in the World Cup.

Chesterfield FC got beaten at home by Accrington Stanley and are in the bottom 4 of the English Football League (having finished bottom of their division last season) and have been knocked out of all available cups so far played.

Otherwise good effort son

Find the swastika slippers piece that I saw online recently. Was a classic of its genre.

Blimey what a thread.

Eni Aluko is a qualified lawyer. She has the capacity to make far more money both playing and through the law than she could expect from the FA.

The FA as we all know is an out-of-touch organisation which cannot decide whether to embrace big-business or its grassroots, so it can be relied upon to get most things wrong even when it has the best of intentions.

Obviously the FA has realised very late it should never have appointed Mr Sampson to such a high-profile job.
Obviously he has said and done more than one thing to make this obvious as the FA can only see the very obvious.
Equally obviously it would be hard to find a more credible witness than Ms Aluko.
And even more obviously the FA is in a panic about parliamentary involvement.

I'm no part of the snowflake generation but clearly Mr Sampson is having trouble controlling both his mouth and his trousers. (The best part about him is selecting a centre back from Killamarsh.)

I watched bits of the WC and also had the misfortune of being free to go and watch us play Accy on Saturday. Both were very low on quality & not something i'd go out of the way to watch ordinarily. They are 3rd in the world not because they are **** compared to the competition but because the standard is **** and you can only beat what's put in front of you, or not beat in the case of Town.

Women's football is fine, they're obviously never gonna be as physical as men's football, they had worse coaches and have had a tiny number of years playing football as an organisation compared to men's people. What are u actually expecting?

Give us your prediction.

Then we'll know what wouldn't happen.

Remember this well.
They play to there ability which is fair play to the ladies. Its the standard that ladies football is, anyone comparing it to the quality of the men's game is not doing the ladies any favours. Good luck to em.

And that's the reason it's a joke. The standard is pathetic. I find it laughable that if you point this out you are sexist.

I find it more sexist to promote something sub standard just because a particular gender play it.
Guess I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue!
