Yet again a hell of a lot of money has left CFC with fans none the wiser to where it actually went.

And yet again, a statement from AC that intended to exonerate or show himself in great light generates more questions than answers...

The sentence 'This accounts for agents fees paid on new contracts and manager Gary Caldwell’s summer dealings in the transfer market, alongside Branston and Carson' is also a strange use of words as it suggests GB and AC were included in those payments.

Transaction doesn't necessarily mean player signed. In my understanding they're new contracts, ins AND some outs.

As for that sentence, it simply means the fees paid during Caldwell's tenure, working alongside Branston and Carson.

and presumably extensions? I expect Dennis's agent will have been paid for getting him to re-sign?

Thanks, Graham.

I'd pretty much realised Town'd paid money for players leaving as well as arriving. That's the kinda circus we've become.

But anyway, good to see Branston and Carson sharing responsibility...

I don't have any insight on Dennis situation but I believe extensions are counted among the 'transactions'

I'm disappointed.

I thought we'd see a detailed break-down of who received what and when, but this is nothing more than the football authorities publish every year.

And as our friend 'Dim View' suggests, there's more than a hint of scapegoating.

The sentence 'This accounts for agents fees paid on new contracts and manager Gary Caldwell’s summer dealings in the transfer market, alongside Branston and Carson' is also a strange use of words as it suggests GB and AC were included in those payments.

Then can anyone list the thirty one players Danny Wilson signed? Or is the use of the term 'transactions' significant.

Yet again a hell of a lot of money has left CFC with fans none the wiser to where it actually went.

I've obtained the full player by player breakdown from April to date and the name of the agency and will post up on a seperate thread later

Very good Graham 😀

Quote from GC: "I think midfield is an area where we are extremely strong". 😁

Is it possible to change the mental strength of players? Its not a bunch of kids out there. We have enough experienced players in the team ..Lee Wiseman Evatt Hird Weir OGrady. But only one in midfield.

Im not sure if you can do it...instill discipline and concentration and the awareness to sense danger in those who lack it (even though all they have ever done is play football).
