I would like to see Mitchell, McCourt, Anyon, Evatt and Dimaio shown the door, to be replaced by a quality experienced centre-back and a decent GK. Since I'm writing down pie-in-the-sky wishes, a Phil Robinson-type midfielder to rev things up in the middle of the park and show some balls would be lovely too.

Do you really think that 2 of the summer signings are going to be shown the door?

We had an experienced centre back training the other week in Clint Hill but he has moved on

Evo is ok as cover. A stronger CB to partner Hird would be welcome.

No, I don't, which is why I described my wishes as pie-in-the-sky.
These go to eleven.

Why Hird, as far as I can see however good Hird is he is the only constant player in the defence thru out the league defeats. Could it be him that should be out of the team.

Jim White on Talksport reckons this is "The day we all live for". Someone get him a receptacle to ejaculate into.

You should know by now that Sam Hird is solely to blame for every single defeat we have, whether he was playing or not.

Some of the fees for mediocre at best players are ridiculous.

Only a matter of time before we see League 1 clubs paying over a million pound for players.

**** will hit the fan one day.

Whole concept of the transfer window and deadline day is flawed and another pointless FIFA idea. Apparently to stop big clubs just buying folk when they want and all its done is meant they've stockpiled players now so you get clubs like Chelsea with 30+ out on loan etc and its pushing prices up along with the money coming in from TV deals. Throw in the hype given to it by the likes of Sky as its one less day they have to worry about filling up 24hrs of TV on Sky Sports News and they will push it all the time. I saw about 10 mins of it this morning and in that time they twice when to Man City to talk about Alexis Sanchez possibly going there but no new bid had been made at any point and it was obvious they were filling time.

Jim White is just an annoying halfwit on it as well.

A fast center half and a ball winning defensive midfielder to partner Weir would make me happy.

A new manager would make me even happier but thats not gonna happen........ not for a while anyway.

I don't think I could care less if we sign anyone/sell or release anyone today. Who ever comes in will have any positives coached out of them by Saturday morning anyway. I'd be more exited if we had changes from further up including getting some financial experts and a manager that can get the best out of the dross we already have on the pitch.
Here we go again!

"not gonna happen" ..... not till we're getting a tonking at home this Saturday, and the crowd turn on Caldwell and Comical!

According to Biggs on twitter we are close to signing a big centre back with additional funds provided by Allen.

Not sure if it means 'big' as in height or as in big name.

We get it in instalments don't we? so it's probably a loan from allen until it comes in.

So we are over budget and lending more money off Allen for players so just increasing the debt. And not even in a position where we are struggling the most. We have centre backs, we have no wingers, and it looks like we'll be having to make do without till January at least.

It's all a shambles.
