They've signed a strong man with little pace but they have pace eslewhere in the side so he may not need it. A decent signing to add to what they had but Oxford not sad to see him go so, he's an alright striker.
Us we still lack pace all round in final third although Ugwo is quite deceptive but it's not quick off the mark pace.

sorry Goku, but that's not true.
I wouldn't usually respond but it's a rate boring day today CFC wise.
He's got a good touch but he loses his composure in front of goal, both with his head and his feet. That's my opinion any road up. Whether composure can be coached might be an interesting debate. I used to say the same about Jordan Bowery. They both get flustered at the exact time when they shouldn't.

Was a bit of a fleeting statement based solely on the Grimsby game. See what you mean about the composure aspect. I suppose we'll see as the season progresses.

2.5 million budget and not signed the striker yet, that's some going, could be failure of epic proportions if it doesn't come off.
Evans can't ever have worked without having the biggest budget in the league
Striker signed, and I can't imagine many other league 2 clubs would have a basic salary budget of £2.5 million.
The yellow stain will go up, while we languish.
Get used to it, the boot is now firmly on the other foot.

I never said they wouldn't go up, but equally after 3 games I'm not yet convinced the 2.5 budget has been spent wisely and the town in me won't let me wave the white flag just yet even if others want to. Plenty to play for and Evans will blow up at some point

Because in the linked article it said the total investment this season is £2.5M and some have interprited that as player salaries
It was a loose statement which easily could've come out the mouths of DA/CT and could mean absolutely anything. Typ

It serves some peoples arguments to praise Mansfield's promotion push to highlight our own situation
We can all start doing this when they splash this £300K on the striker they've gong on about since the last transfer window
