Anyon got stick after Saturday not because we lost but because he let in a very soft looping header

Anyon (Canyon, as someone on here called him) has a lot to prove.
Soderberg was so cowardly and uncommitted, it was criminal.

Agree he's not bad. Just not particularly good. Many keepers been done by a looping header

Why do people keep picking out Nathan Abbey who poor keeping s talked bout at Town?
He was a decent keeper, yes had a terrible first game but them so did many others.
I've been watching since 1989 and he wouldn't be anywhere near my worst 10 town keepers, never mind on the shortlist.

Hmm ten keepers worse than Nathan abbey since 1989, that's tricky.......
Soderburg
Bibbo
Astbury
Fleming
Fulton
Goldring
Gayle
That sheeter we brought in for the playoff 2nd leg
I'm done, anyone think of anymore possibilities?

Richmond
The other young local lad from similar times
Chapman
My point was that abbey wasn't as bad as some seem to remember, didn't he get player of the a season whilst here?

You mean Joel Armstrong, I reckon. Did Chapman play in the league, or just the JPT?

Player of the year wasn't he? Probably marked down because of the way he left the club.
As for Anyon he is nowhere near the worst either.
Complete tosh from the OP

If he had just stood there with his arms outstretched in the air, the ball would have fell on to his hands.
Ben Williams was terrible when he was with us.
Good goalie now though
