I hope all police leave has been cancelled! Grimsby in the East Stand......

It's not leave that gets cancelled (that rarely if ever happens). It's scheduled days off that get cancelled and yes that has happened to quite a few for this game.

There were a few in the East Stand that used to moan at Tendayi for not crossing the ball even though a blind man could see there wasn't a blue shirt in the box to cross to.

It wouldn't have mattered anyway as his crosses ended up hitting the defenders legs and going out.
He really was that dog fudge at attempting to cross a ball

Quite a judge of a player aren't you?

Were you one of those that used to get on his back then?

I see a classic case of negotiation by stealth. Don't dispute the stories going around that Barrow's wages can be funded by what we will save on the expiring contract of Piper, then once Barrow is on board, point out we can't manage without Piper.

Not at all, but I was pulling my hair out when the ball wasn't delivered into the box when in promising positions.
To bomb it down the line, skin a player, get to the by line and then.....kop/throw in/corner/tackled. Very little end product.

For clarity, on my part, Gary's comments about Piper were made on Saturday. Of course we don't know when Barrow struck an agreement to come in.

But I suppose the argument would be...

Wilson -> Caldwell
Morgan -> Eyre
Humphries -> Barrow
Mitchell -> Branston
Duke
Purchase -> Piper
Wylde -> McBride
Duckmanton

On other major names, I though Morsey was Championship at best, Ryan a good L1 midfielder and Clucus would go to the top (play international football)

Fair enough. So he shouldn't have any excuses then?

Like I wrote a week or two ago - his squad, his set-up and upon it he will be judged.
