He's looked at this contract too and run it by an EFL Council member he knows, who shares the view the Stags aren't due anything

They don't need it :D

I take it some of this will go to reducing the debt ad nauseam .....and the rest to signing of players - maybe the two Caldwell wants but can't afford?

Will it even cover the interest on the debt?

I still think you're missing my point. Our model is seriously flawed if our debts are still growing and we are selling players like no tomorrow for cracking fees. If you want to turn a blind eye to this and pat folk on the back for yet another good fee retrieved then that's your prerogative. I on the other hand find it very alarming and can't wait until this lot have gone, otherwise we are just a train crash in waiting.

Yes Karl like you've said a million times now..... I'm not patting them on the back just saying how it is. It won't change until DA gets what he wants. What part of that do you not understand? Until that happens most supporters want to enjoy some football and your tedious, repetitious posts won't change that. Sorry but we're not all slashing our wrists. It's only football at the end of the day. Lighten up mate.

My moods fine ta. I understand that perfectly thank you for your condescending remarks. There's dozens of posters with tedious, repetitious posts as you put it, though you only seem to have a problem with mine for some reason. Try having a go at some other posters to balance things out a bit, it'll give your posts more credence ;)

I used to have some good banter with you on here. You have since ceased to become a supporter of CFC. That's your decision which you are entitled to, and a minority on this forum agree with you. You have dealt with your addiction to supporting the club but for some reason you haven't dealt with your addiction to this forum. In a few weeks we will be talking about games and players. And you will be saying the same old.

I don't talk about games, players etc, as I've already stated this would be unfair for me to so and I will let those that want to enjoy games do so. There are plenty of users; yes, a minority I'll concede, that are in the same mind as me whom still talk about the team, and many of these even pick great bones with the quality of the team/ players etc, but yet you only seem to pounce on my every post (which I'm not making that many of being as there's not a great deal for me to talk about). IF you don't believe me, take a look back at my posts over the last few weeks etc and you always have to have a pop. Now, don't get me wrong, I have no ill feelings towards you, but you must understand that it gets a little tiresome, especially when you don't pull others up who in my view are much more critical. At least I keep it to where it's deserved and only in reply to other posts. What do you want me to do.. Stop posting altogether :D

Contrary to earlier belief, Mansfield Town will not be entitled to a cut of any sell on, should Sam Clucas be sold. Just the #Spireites

Graham Smyth‏ @GrahamSmyth 27s27 seconds ago
And that much has been confirmed by the Stags.

Well what a great day it is so far. I remain amazed. Somebody at the Stags has xxxxed up big style.
Get it on, bang the gong , get it on

Some very good friends of mine have renewed their season tickets.

Some very good friends of mine have chosen to boycott the Club altogether.

However in each and every case I still regard them as genuine supporters of CFC.

PS: I long for the day when we can just 'talk about games and players'. However the behaviour of those running Town means we continue to face the 'same old, same old'...

Nothing personal at all in this. I don't think I pounce on every post you make, just some of them, because IIRC you started the nuppence movement, and seem to make the most posts on the subject.Nothing wrong with your campaign, it just didn't seem to get much support as a proportion of the forum membership. Hope the day when you attend games won't be too far away.

Its pretty clear cut in my view. If you don't support the club in any way you have stopped being a supporter. Support involves financial input into the club and/or vocal backing for the team. Those who boycott home games but get behind the team away from home are supporters. Those who stop doing any of this are former supporters!

+1 to that SP.

Though just to put the record straight.. I didn't start the #notapennymore campaign, I merely jumped on it from another poster and ran with the idea, because it was exactly the way I felt and I was convinced others did also, which they did tbf. I also stated this when starting the campaign. This doesn't mean that I make the most posts on the subject as you claim, in fact I'd say far from it; though now I do know why I've upset you in some way. We are all the same, whichever side of the fence we sit on and some people need reminding of this. I don't comment on the football as I'm not really entitled to do so in my book and perhaps you should try to understand the way others with differing views than your good self feel. There really is no difference, just what degree you are prepared to tolerate.

And those that won't pay another penny because they don't trust that their hard earned is going where it should be 'in the best interests of CFC'?

Not really- I'm asked a lot who I support and without fail I proudly announce Chesterfield.

I'm lucky as can get in most games for free nowadays but I wouldn't dream of paying any money to watch Town under the people in charge at the moment.
Shamefully even when Town played down in London I didn't fancy it.

I still remain a supporter though
Carson is the lowest of the low to me.

Without going over the same broken record that you keep accusing me about us still losing millions despite all the record incoming monies, and with the greatest respect I don't think it matters too much either way do you? (in answer to your question). Though in deepest of hopes more than anything I'm taking my stand against this lot in hoping my little bit will help in some way towards their eventual exit. Yes, I'm dreaming I know, though it does makes me feel better that I'm doing something proactive and as a person of high morals I really can't support what they've turned CFC into. Sorry, that's just me, though with saying that I'm not having a go at anyone that feels the same, but is still planning on going to games. Same goal, just different levels views on how to get there.
