The coaching staff used to tell my Dad that Tony was unplayable in training and practice games, hence their patience with him. He did at times seem to lose all confidence once he crossed that white line; although the 69-70 season was his saving grace.

I didn't realise until recently that his best pal in footy was Neil Warnock and he regularly visited Neil in Cornwall at his house and kept in touch all those years after starting with Tony Moore at town
