According to twitter, McCourt had the armband for the 2nd half. Interesting, the most senior pro in that side is probably McGinn - does that decision say more about how McGinn is viewed by the manager or McCourt?

A deal was agreed for McGinn to join Port Vale in the last couple of weeks.
Vale however pulled out the deal.
I have been told that by two different sources close to the club.

That concurs with what I was told last week, too.

Would also go some way to explain why we kept LIam Graham hanging on, cheap back up maybe?

We were told that Benfica were the host club and they insisted it was a closed doors game. We just hung around til they realised we weren't gonna go away and they let us into the seating area!

The Benfica officials were total knob heads to us, one who also said he was the stadium manager, offered me out because I refused to leave the reception area until I spoke to someone from town. Fair play to the guy with the prosthetic leg from the Benfica coaching staff who quietly went away and found what I presume was the agent who set up the match,

Little wonder Lincoln daren't publicise their game against them tomorrow....
