Disappointing, would rather see club develop our own youngsters rather than another club's

Signing number 10 it is. One more experienced to join him and that looks like squad complete. Rave reviews from united fans so am happy with this one despite it not being Brooks who we originally wanted.

If the Brooks deal was initially agreed at the time of the Evans transfer then perhaps the blunts are paying a large proportion of Reed's wages and, as such, this young man is not necessarily taking up much, or any, of our budget. If this is the case then it has to be a decent deal.

The squad is definitely taking shape and if all the players perform to expectations and remain fit and available then GC will have a good number of options to choose from whichever formation he chooses.

Decent on the ball but very lightweight a few blades so called mates lol tell me. To be honest I'd rather be developing our own kids than someone elses.

It's a good signing, no matter what we think about it our own youngsters maybe Rowley aside, aren't at this standard. People were moaning about needing to strengthen the midfield, suggesting that our own talent wasn't good enough, and we do strengthen and they still moan. Can't win.

If he's our player at the end of the deal then fine. But he won't though, got nothing against signing players, not making other teams better.

A welcome addition. But the word lightweight is significant as we are very short of height and beef in the middle of the park. We still need a BEAST.

It was replacing midfielders like Kerry and Winter which turned a decent team into a title-winning one (plus replacing the likes of Page, Currie and Austin.... not to mention the manager!).
These go to eleven.
