Just wondered if any fans have subscribed to the new platform that has been migrated from the older player HD version. Overseas fans of EFL clubs can stream live games of selected matches which is a good initiative but I am in 2 minds whether to pay £45 for a seasons subscription. You do get an all areas pass for the season including pre and post match interviews, commentary and full match replays which is a new feature I believe. Has anyone signed up to it? Be good to get other fans

I subscribe to player but the last content on it is from 34 days ago an interview with Ugwu.
There's videos on the main site which I can access by logging in with my player details but why isn't this content in the place it's supposed to be i.e. on the actual app?
Can those videos on the main site be accessed by anyone and if so what am I paying for player for over the summer?
Anyone any idea?

Not too certain but under the umbrella of the EFL it looks like Player is morphing into iFollow. When I received notification from EFL I sent an email asking if my monthly subscription would automatically be carried over to iFollow or if I would have to re-register. That was a couple of weeks ago and there's been no response. Can anyone out there clear this up?

email said monthly subscriptions would continue so you should be able to access ifollow, annual subscriptions have to be renewed, i didn't bother

I'm still subscribed from player from last season, unfortunately the EFL haven't updated the app from last season and haven't got a new one ready yet. I'm not entirely sure that the new platform is going to be worth £10 a year more than last season though.

The efl have a new app coming out later this year for I follow but didn't tell the clubs. The new content can still be accessed via the website using your player login and is valid until your subscription runs out. IMO if you're changing the whole package then you need to make sure the app is ready to go at launch

Sure i read on another forum that Player will just change into iFollow and subscriptions will go across with the same login details getting you into iFollow.

I had issues logging in to ifollow using my old Player login. The password reset didn't seem to work. I contacted the efl who told me that a partner company called NeuLion operate the ifollow system. They can be contacted by emailing [email protected] - they sorted my problem out inside one day, no complaints from me.

Not sure whether to renew though as the increase to £45 seems a bit steep. I personally have until August to decide.

With the iFollow service I can't continue with a monthly subscription like I did on the player hd version. My only option is to pay the season pass but I think the monthly subscription should still be available to users whereas they are making you sign up for the season in full.
