Well Ashley you little rascal...

As per your tweets no one saw or heard of the 2 signings this week or indeed the third (allegedly) Brooster who's just been released by Everton....but then again why would we?

Because to date they are kids who are very cheap and plucked from nowhere who we hope may come good! A-la January 2017...and we know how that ended!

We need at least 4 quality experienced signings which are currently are no where to be seen...

If we enter this season with 7 experienced pro's and a squad of kids then I personally won't be buzzing...

...So get this kin sorted Mr spin doctor!!!!

to be fair i'd heard of the lad who scored against us for burton because he bullied us that night with pace and power

i agree with your sentiments generally though. who knows though. lets see how they do but i do think we need more experience.

I'd be amazed if there were even 1 or 2 'quality' experienced signings now, the money just isn't there. This was painfully obvious in January and it's going to get even more so over the next couple of months

I presume still allocated potentially towards O'Grady until we know for certain he isnt joining. Would be silly to allocate it elsewhere then find out he does want to sign for us.

Go to your profile in the top right corner, left click and go to manage ignored users, scroll to bottom of page and add a new user to your list and type in Walton Spireite, mission accomplished!

I can't see why we would be wanting to spend wages on yet another striker, as we already have Ugwu, Brewster, Dennis and German; unless Dennis is offloaded. I think we can presume any move for OGrady is now off the agenda.

One of the Radio Sheff lot was tweeting that he understood that O'Grady had spoken to Rotherham but that was it...nothing about a done deal etc.

I think the defence is taking shape, like others I would like to see a couple of solid midfielders and another striker all with just a a bit of pedigree, not asking for the earth just decent League one/two standard.
