You can always tell whose fault it really is when it's always somebody else's fault.

He will probably just claim that somebody somewhere neglected to tell him about it..... which therefore doesn't make it his fault.... which in turn means we have to stop picking on him and be thankful of all the great things he has done for us. Hoorah for Ashley!

No doubt as per recent times he'll be blaming Chris Turner.

Funny how John Croot (in Liam suitcliffes words - co -founder of the Development school ) seems to have had no heat other this from start to finish and is costing the club monthly with a charity that has had to get a large loan to keep operating.

This article totally contradicts the notion presented by Turner that he was a development school player although I do recall at one point later on they sought to claim that

Just an update to this I know Jake Orrell couldn't be reached for comment by the DT, however after speaking to him myself I can confirm Jake was offered a contract late May and never trained with the DC. He trained with the first team everyday and had no dealings with or matches with the development school at all.

Have you got any information about the status of Keiller-Dunn?

I can confirm he was took on as a youth team player but paid by the DC, he resided in the village as such, for free. He did train once or twice with the development school but felt he wanted more so asked to leave. He was then offered youth team training and games and was paid weekly. Sometimes.

The penny just dropped as to what your initials stand for. I honestly do not know if this is Bullocks or not.
These go to eleven.

Ashley hasn't been able to get to the bottom of that despite extensive research. I think the answer is that they paid him for turning out for CFC as they are nice guys and CFC forgot.

mind you, thinking about it WB you could ask the same question about many other things CFCFDS were paying for that were unrelated to the business.

Paul, John Croot had nothing to do with the development centre across the road apart from 1 project, which is a big stretch even from you to being co-founder

Nope; I've been up and down this article:

http://www.chesterfi...hed-458337.aspx

and I can't see the word "Croot" anywhere.
It's nice to be able to Trust again.

There's a difference between giving someone help and being a co founder of a business

How embarrassing, he does seem to be well and truly implicated.

It also demonstates how integrated the whole venture was with CFC.

Ah so the difference is in the words, I see, So in that case it was the idea of two people only, Liam Sutcliffe and Chris Turner, would I be right?

I think personally what would and is worrying me is that the trust is already losing a very large amount of money which is owed to CFC, Now we have the start of another "Academy" governed / Funded by the Trust, So basically CFC have another debt to cover, or am I being melodramatic?

Given the failures over the road, I'd guess the new set up gives the club far more direct control over the venture, given the Trust is totally at the mercy of the club and its stakeholders.

I'd imagine this was also the reasoning to keep in 'in-house' to a degree rather than allow 'an outsider' set up a separate venture, despite his self-confessed expertise in this area.

But correct me if I am wrong Sammy, The Club has zero control over the trust or it's activities, Hence the large debt owed to the Club by the trust.
and wasn't an "Outsider" ie SC pictured on the top table when the new academy was announced?
