Same bank as the club, knows the manager was the line given to me

Someone would be getting sacked if those allegations were proved to be true.

Barclays will be able to check every single key that's been pressed and every single screen that's been viewed. My employer, another High Street bank can and do when necessary.

He may though have been given consent by the account holder but that's not how it came across

I think even then the account holder would have to be present, rather than sending a letter saying 'Liam is ill and can't come to the bank today'.
No, I think we can safely say Carson is lying. AGAIN.

And they wonder why the fans don't trust a word that comes out of the club. Is there anybody who won't be sorry to see the back of this lot... buzzing or not.

Sounds highly dubious to me.

He's probably dropped someone in it now but this is the bloke who made his own mum redundant.

When Countdown, Werthers Originals and a Shackletons chair (ask your parents) come knocking, you can't stand in anyone's way!

Don't be silly. The only time you get fired at Town is when a scapegoat is needed. Even then you get a nice payoff and relocated into part of one of the associate businesses involved with Town's upper echelons. As long as you follow the confidentiality clause your set.
If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything!

I think he was more referring to someone at the bank
It's not the despair. I can take the despair. It's the hope I can't stand.

AC told me he had access to the DC's bank account that's how he was able to establish the PSG trip was never paid for, perhaps he saw the salary payments from this.

Perhaps the next time I'm back, I can take a stroll into town and try that for myself? Or maybe Graham could make an appointment with the manager to ask a few questions? I think Pandora's box is ready to open...

AC has provided the following explanation regarding the bank account access

"For clarification, until about a year ago, because like everything else, the Development Centre had been classed by Barclays as part of the Club, hence why when we opened our Online Banking their account was linked to our other 4 active accounts.

The Bank Manager was always concerned about the cash and lack of it in the Development Account and he would inform me if there was a problem. I was also able to ask if the account was showing any real credit or on the breadline.

Once the account had been changed and the old account closed we were not able to see a transaction by transaction again, and I never asked the bank for this detail, I would not expect to get it.

However I was issued with their information relating to the PSG Trip as there were several cheques that had been bounced and the Bank informed me of these and confirmed the 2 specific ones relating to the Travel Company"

So the club and the DC were linked at least financially then, despite all the denials.

The thick plottens.
That surely is an admission that he knew last year that CFC players had been paid by the DS?
As I've said privately to Ashley, this needs clearing up sharpish.
Get it on, bang the gong , get it on
