And yet some posters appear either to have no idea what's happening or just won't accept it! While others go way above the call of duty to try and expose the truth.

So to summarise in layman's terms, parents of the next Messi were shelling out for kit,accommodation, professional training, "man making" trips abroad, whilst all the while a percentage of their cash was actually funding other CFC (related) activities.

With regards to paying CFC players was the reason for this:- a/ instead of CFC wages b/ a subsidiary to CFC wages c/ for work at the DS. If so would they have the qualifications?

This article totally contradicts the notion presented by Turner that he was a development school player although I do recall at one point later on they sought to claim that

Well this thread has now been running for about 15 months.

Little did we know when we started digging into rumours about the Development School what a den of inequity we were delving into.

We came to meet a number of individuals who supplied us with at times unbelievable information of wrongful conduct and behaviour that was morally and on occasions legally unacceptable.

These sources however have proved to be 100% accurate and truthful in everything they told us and I thank them respectfully for their commitment.

Sadly things continue to be revealed and I'm left wondering will honesty and complete transparency and openness ever return to Chesterfield Football Club.

Sadly one of our intrepid bunch has now for personal reasons had to cease to be involved in any further investigations.

This will not however stop the determination and resolution of the rest of us to get to the bottom of this sorry affair.

There is definitely more revelations to come.

I might be a bit thick here but if the development school were paying wages and nobody at th club knew anything about it etc then surely someone at the club knew we had 2 players we weren't paying? You would have thought they would have asked who the f was

I can understand how Ashley could easily find out that the players were not paid by CFC - he just had to ask Sally to see if their names were excluded from the payroll runs in the CFC accounts - but how did he confirm that they were paid by the DS unless he had access to DS accounts?

and

Sally must surely have had to supply a balancing entry in the CFC accounts to account for the difference between what the payroll should have cost and what it actually cost, so how can she have been unaware?

and
