Carsons reference to Danny's comment about the quality of the players he had been able to recruit was a stand out in the interview for me. So, the answer was to fund a pay off for DW and CM, pay over the odds for a new manager who has no experience of managing a side with little to no resources? Rather than signing some quality in January.

Yeah, the number of wrong decisions made by the club is staggering.

I think the only reason GC took the job was a lack of offers elsewhere.

They will give him £3.50 next season, tell him to build a good side and want some loose change for the petty cash.

If it was reported that Caldwell had £11 million to spend at Wigan to get promoted then he probably got
excited when Uncle Dave might have mentioned 11 in their talks prior to him taking the job

Problem was it had quite a few of the noughts missing off the end and we have paid the consequences with relegation

Carson must be hoping that only a small minority of fans actually know what's been going on, so by broadcasting on radio dee dah he can literally say anything he likes to a wider audience. How many fans knew he was a director before we moved grounds and has been here all that time? Probably just a couple of dozen. He's banking on that, and he's banking on most fans not knowing the circumstances of the other board members departure. He's also banking on most fans thinking he is inheriting Turners and the old board members mess, and giving him the clean slate he is asking for.
Despite his interview being a blatant bare faced lie. It really shows the mans morals and character for what they are.

surely 'gagging' is two way. It can't be equitable in law for one party to be gagged whilst their adversary isn't? There must be a limit to provocation.
