Agree. Unfortunately Danny, realising the limitations of his squad and trying to eke out any points he could, became far too negative at home games. There was a reaction to that and it cost him his job. Its all hindsight now of course but he may have kept us up. However, who could have predicted that caldwell would make a raft of grotesque signings and behave in such a reckless way with the 3 at the back stuff given the predicament we were in when he took over.

With respect O'Shea and Ariyibi were not got rid of, they couldn't wait to leave this club, and who could blame them for that.
Were these players all Caldwell's or was Turner heavily involved ? as he knew he was on his way and didn't give a flying about the club.

No lessons learned from the 2011/2012 relegation when we brought in a load of young loan signings who simply were not up to it.
