One home game left. I have never dreamt of missing the last game of the season even in our darkest times. It's always been a game to reflect on the season, applaud the players off regardless of where we lie in the table. This season is different. It hurts me to have reached the point where I don't want to go, I don't want to endure that dross, I don't want to give those in charge running our club any more money. I don't want to give them any warped satisfaction they feel thinking that actually attending is endorsing what they are doing to us.
I don't want to see our clueless, passionless manager going through the motions. I don't want to see some of our young players being put through the mill and being potentially scarred for life by unkind abuse that is not intended for them personally.
I will not attend next Saturday as my own personal protest. I suggest those that feel the same way do not attend either. Personally I agree with many others that hurting these pariahs in the pocket is the ONLY way they will take notice.
For those that do attend, and I can fully understand your reasoning, then I suggest a few of you get your point across either with chants or banners.
We should not let the last match and last chance go with a whimper.
I'm a sad spireite tonight, sad and angry.

Sadly I can see a good 1000 odd from Charlton, which should massage the gate figure, but I agree the home support will be the lowest in a long while.

The next home game after that, in League 2, without new owners, will see another 1000 drop I reckon in home support. Question is will these supporters return?
