Genuine way to protest is to stay away from the Charlton home match and DONT buy a season ticket with these lot in charge.

Genuine way to protest is to actually protest. That's what gets people's attention. They'll see enough empty seats next season

Our fans haven't got a chant in em. Any other club in this mess and there'd be a riot.

Ours have seemingly embraced it in a similar vein to which the players have accepted relegation.

This. Our fans are far too nice sometimes, a shrug of the shoulders and feeble acceptance of another relegation. Where are the chants against Allen and Carson? Banners? Let the dee dahs know they are not wanted in these parts instead of quiet grumblings

Yeah. Dave Allen is totally more worried about whether he's liked than how much money he has in his sky rocket.

Well, if it's gonna happen, there is only one more home game to do it.......

A better protest is to set another club up in the non league and have two or three thousand attend that. That would generate press and make the ****ers realise the fans are serious about them blimey off.

Once they have, then the club have a ready made functioning club run by the fans to use as a reserve youth team product to blood the youngsters rarer than urine about with youth team games.

Worst case scenario the club does go bust which is a possibility with the **** wits in charge then the people of chesterfield have a football club.

upsetting me greatly about not going to one game isn't going to make any difference to Allen and co. The mushrooms such as those on Facebook will continue to bottom lick everything that is being done and that's te problem, some people won't have anything bad said about the club even in these sorry state of affairs.

I'm pretty sure the good people of Chesterfield could sort something out just like AFC Wimbledon did who surprisingly (not) are now higher in the league than the ******s who ransacked their club.

Think a lot will give the Charlton homematch a miss, me included.

United on last day will put 5 odd past this lot no question.

If I recall correctly, they didn't have that much of a struggle to score 4 against us back in November...

Mate, Wimbledon took 9 years to get to League Two from formation. And that was without competition from another club int he same town. The only way a new club would have a chance of working would be if CFC 2001 goes bankrupt and can't be resurrected.

Our best hope remains Allen accepts a fire sale, or we do indeed fail financially and the liquidator finds a buyer to take the club on as a going concern. Like you I have no hope whilst Carson attempts to steer the ship.

At this rate it's a distinct possibility that may happen. The club is unsustainable and another million plus loss this year couple with relegation and a bad start next season could be the final nail in the coffin. I can imagine him being that spiteful that he wouldn't sell the club in a fire sale.

There should be a complete boycott of the next match.

There should have been one ages ago. IMO (and I stress it's just my opinion) if you really did love the club as you say you do, you should be telling this board what they are doing is completely unacceptable by refusing to show. An empty Stadium would embarrass them. Turning up and doing nothing is detrimental at this point, because there's no desire to protest and it makes them think they are doing a sterling job.

Saw a tweet I thought was bang on. Was looking at Coventry protests today and saying they will probably finish above us, and all our fans can do in comparison is tweet abuse to the club and it's joke of a director.

Time for more action surely?! Can't believe how many people seem to just sit and take it..

1) What's the end game for Allen & Carson?

2) What action do you have in mind & what impact might that have on Allen & Carson's end game?

3) Do you have a plan B and what is it?

Which club are you thinking of that has demonstrated against the owners by starving the club of cash every week and it's ended well? Blackpool, Blackburn?

Not necessarily about it ending well but about getting the point across to the wider audience.

A lot of town fans I know don't even know what's going on behind the scenes, they just think we're having a bad season cos the board are unambitious and sold all our players. I've been out the country since Jan with 4 others, 3 of whom are town fans and they don't have a clue about all of this and won't whilst it's confined to secret message board conversations.

You see all these articles in the national press about clubs like Orient, Charlton, Coventry etc behind screwed over by owners but nobody mentions Chesterfield. That's because nobody at our club has done anything about it so nobody knows what's going on. The rate were going we'll be out the FL and nobody will have batted an eyelid.

Got good mate who's an OrIent lad I have a beer with at England games and they're now taking pretty drastic action to make the FL / national press aware of what's going on because everything LOFT and LOSC had done previously as a quiet protest had failed and look how that's ended up for them, sad to see

Do none of your friends have access to Facebook, Twitter, the Derbyshire Times? In Graham Smyth, we have a local journalist who has gone out of his way to cover most subjects. If you're wanting someone to cover the toxic subjects, I think you will struggle.

If your friends have read Graham's articles and still put it down to the club having a bad season then I don't believe national press coverage is going to have any impact on their outlook.

What has happened here is not normal and hopefully, all supporters should be able to see that.

More to the point if they've been out of the country together for 3 or months, what did they talk about?
Derbyshire is Derbyshire
Yorkshire is Yorkshire

Never the twain shall meet.
