The season ticket situation is farcical. We need to push to get the youngsters in the ground week in, week out.
At Derby a kids ST is free but they have to register as a junior ram and pay £30 to register. So a kids ST is basically £30 when bought with an adult ST, but that is anywhere in the ground. I sit in the East Stand but don't want to be forced into the corner blocks which is what you're faced with at the Proact if you want to take advantage of the value kids season tickets. If I could have purchased a kids ST for £30 in my preferred part of the ground, I would no doubt have done it over the past couple of seasons. We seem light years behind the times.
I liked the idea of kids for a quid during this season's run in but we seriously need to identify half a dozen games prior to Christmas in the new L2 season where kids are for, say, £5 and advertise it to the max. There are going to be plenty of fixtures to push for bums on seats, unfortunately.

Based on what we're doing at the moment, what have the poor kids done to deserve that? It's like a punishment at the moment!

Think the supporters of Chesterfield might have grasped the extent of those in charge as they attempt to exploit the ordinary fans at every opportunity if it's true what I heard yesterday, an extra quid for the programme that included a 20th FA Cup semi anniversary special. Wouldn't be so bad, if they'd attempted to put on an event to celebrate the clubs 150th anniversary, but I guess that takes thinking & planning, something they are clearly not able to do. But any opportunity to make a quid here and there. As somebody else said, the clubs gone from hosting Elton John & Tom Jones, to Sunday morning car boot sales. Where's Rodney & Delboy when you need them oh, hang on a sec......

How sad is it that the POTY - the POTY - gig is cancelled and there's so much distrust of those running the Club folk're forced to completely divorce such as the semi final anniversary do from them.
You'd like to think Carson and Allen would have a sense of utter shame...but somehow I doubt it.

I think you are right.
Is it feasible that well educated, proven successful business men can get so much wrong without trying.
I'm coming to the conclusion, that to be so successful at being so unsuccessful they have to know what they are doing!
Frightening.

Who you going to ask to move to accommodate your young Un. You'd probably have to move from your seat to sit together.
