It's a possibility but I don't see Dave Allen losing his investment

This is where i am as well.....yes we have a large debt but its in the main owed to DA and if the club went into admin\went bust he loses all the money. He has nothing to gain from letting the club fold.

Last years accounts show Dave Allen and A & S Leisure had net loans of £5.5m with a note saying that this had increased by £852k after the year end date when we (he) paid off the council loan. So that makes the total figure, as of a year ago, about £6.4m in loans. Plus he paid, from memory, £4m for his share capital. So, whilst some of the loans for A&S leisure have been repaid, his net investment at risk is about £10.4m.
I'd expect this to have increased over the past year given I'd expect our income this year to have been much lower than the previous year and we know he's been asked to plug those gaps through more loans.
Obviously there are other loans the business has and other shareholders as well on top of this.

Care to explain how he has (or could have) had £10M back already?

The report does say three League One sides.
Interestingly Begbies Traynor is the company who advised us in late 2016 so we will be a likely candidate

Surely Hartlepool cannot be insecure after all the years they had a top executive who ensures that "every aspect of a club is unified behind a clear philosophy and collective vision" overseeing them?

I'm sure they will be one off them
The report hinted at clubs who had been relegated from the champoinship
What about Charlton, aren't they another basket case?
