People nominate you, if you're a jackass then they don't.
Zoe goes to a lot of away matches, she is an amazing woman. She is managing to raise money for the trust and her old school. She is also a silver medalist in the para Olympics.

I find it almost embarrassing that a fan has won an award, yet all that is being spoken about is a mardarse wanting to know how you get nominated.

Congratulations Zoe, and good luck with your charity!

It's about what you do for your club, the fan who won overall fan of the year was from Doncaster, he commentated, was the mascot, run the supporters club, helped on the supporters coaches etc.
Zoe goes to as many home and away matches as she can, only misses them when she is in hospital or too ill to go, in the last year she's raised £2400 for fountaindale school, £2400 for cfc community trust and £2400 for the youth team.

I think it's utterly shameful that you cannot congratulate someone else who thoroughly deserves the award...yet all you act like is a poor little baby who think the world owes him a favour because you go to every match!!
Zoe deserves it as much as anyone & a very well done to her

Reasonable attempt to deflect the crux of the post.
But was it worth hijacking what was a well deserved thread celebrating the achievements of a Spireite to undermine another, knowing you'd probably get a bite? Pathetic.

And back on topic, congratulations and well done on all your achievements Zoe

To be fair he's not the only one criticising said person on this thread and when you see some of the posts you can understand why. The person you are defending has just asked how he gets himself nominated and moaned about the winner.

Not turn every topic or make every post into a sexual innuendo for a start.

I'm not defending anyone but decrying someone who hijacked a very worthy thread to score a few cheap points.

Point taken. Whilst I'm probably amongst the worsed of many that do similar.I'm sure like myself people would be mindful that this being a congratulatory thread they would be sensitive and not introduce a possibility of turning such a thread in the depths this one as. A cheap shot by STB

Stop whining. It's a thread on a message board. Give your head a wobble and lighten up.
