The most striking line in the article is
“I was amazed after meeting someone who was into football but didn’t support the run of the mill sides like Liverpool and Manchester United. "
Are some parts of the country just very different in terms of football culture? I worked with an Asian lad from Woking who was telling me how much he loved Arsenal. Fair enough.... then he told me he had switched allegiances to them after following Chelsea or Man U or someone until a year or two previously. Apparently his mates switch similarly. Their understanding of what football means seemed to be totally different to mine.

again, like all stories of people who go to loads of games, it's wonderful he has the time and money to do so and good luck to him
lots of people don't have the time or money to attend every game - it does not make the fan who goes to every game any better than those who don't
I find any elevating of one fan above others based on 'they go to every game' or any other reasons ridiculous
We are all Town fans and we are all equal
Also, a Spurs fan from Kent who got talking to a Town fan and now goes to every Town game? Doesn't make much sense to me! Don't get switching allegiance - but again, good luck to the lad hope next season is more enjoyable for him!

Exactly where I'm at, I cannot stand fans who crave some sort of adulation or super fan status for being able to go, even worse is the did you go brigade.

The sour reply's say much more about the people making them than the largely made up people they criticise.

not being negative at all, posted good luck to the lad etc etc
it's the tone of the article and the celebration of fans who can go to every game and trying to elevate them above other fans for doing so that annoys me - not the fans themselves
If someone can afford the time, money etc then great - plenty of people can't
