That's the first time I've not fallen asleep listening to GC.

He's a decent commentator as well. Probably won't be working for Peak too long

Yes, a decent interview. I'll say this about GC, he's confident in his own abilities. He's also not too bothered about saying what he thinks. In the Derbyshire Time interview, he say's he doesn't believe the club will be sold for two or three years. Why? The price! And he reckons Ched will be here next season.

Most people come out fighting an talking the talk, or just saying what people want to hear when they are up against a wall !
Caldwell is finished here, an if he stays for next season so sadly is the club.

He dodged the question about why 3 at the back when we don't have the players for it and look better in a flat back 4.

Because he will never accept he might be wrong?

Being realistic that question was never going to be asked.

I must admit I've been as critical, if not more so, as others regarding GC but I now accept he is going to be here next season.

However, I have found his interviews today to be somewhat a better listen than I've heard from him before. I accepted relegation several games ago and have pointed a fair amount of blame towards him for that. But, next season will be a test of whether or not he is capable of better things and from the start I will be behind him and the team. I'm fed up with negativity and need to get some positivity back into my football. JS did well in League 2, PC did well in League 2, if GC does well in League 2 I will enjoy next season. I will take it from there.

If people think a manager who has never had a budget made of peanuts because that's what it will be next season is going to build a side pushing for promotion, then they are nearly as deluded as those in charge of the club at the moment.

Clueless, totally clueless.

Think he's right about the club in a pub with mates and some blokes came in. Turns out to be Carson and some friends. Overheard a bit of conversation looks like they are sticking around for a few more years and have new plans

completely agree; they're probably the same people who predicted a push into the playoffs this season, (unbelievable as it sounds, some idiots really did).
