Yes I did accept a freebie from Carson it would have been a laugh because it was an opportunity to have a go in the inner sanctum. You obviously know me and don't know you. But I stand by what I say. All those mentioned sit there and condone what's happening. Yes I've had a beer not many though! I just get fed up up of those in a position of influence that don't use it and hide behind being better fans that those who criticise. If you know me send a personal message quite happy to chat.

I think you misunderstand influence in CFC terms.

If 4 members of the board with a couple of million pounds in the club have no influence and were bullied and driven from the boardroom what influence to you think Marcia, Tooley etc have?

Carson does what Allen tells him to do and Allen believes that when Carsons lips move he isn't lying.
A new hope.

So your point is?? Mine is too many people who like to be close to the club chiefs sitting on their hands doing nothing! They may have reasons but doing nothing and watching the club go down the pan!

And what exactly are you doing, besides griping and now, bizarrely giving fellow fans grief?

And more to the point what clout do they have to impose any "influence", on what we are up against?

But over the last few years you have supported and defended Turner Carson and Allen. I don't post often because I'm not a told you sort person. This club is screwed and there is still too many people like you, Whiteley, Tooley, Borrell, Warner and Croot who put your head in the sand and ignore what's going on! When it goes tits up you will all still be there! But what did you do when the club was being screwed??

I know for certain that at least one of the people you mention above ( I don't want to embarrass him by naming) put his own home at risk to save the club in the aftermath of the Brown era debacle. Did you?

Yep if it weren't for that prat elleray we'd have won the FA cup, gone on to win which ever European thingy we'd have qualified for and as a mark of our achievements a preservation order would have been slapped on Saltergate and "H" wouldn't have heard of the Tup

Just keeping up with some of last night's barmy posts

The two mentioned perhaps. Who else did you name?

And no, I retired for this season after the Bury game. Or Oldham. Whichever was most recent.

Because you've already been told this thread is about the 20th anniversary of the FA cup semi final, yet you persist on taking it off topic after being told to keep it on topic. Is it really that difficult to understand?
