Given some of the smiles on show, I'm guessing you had to do some digging in to the archives for those shots?

He just needs to find 10 first team players then. I'd still be tempted to keep Sam Hird.

Oh jolly gee, any modicum of success and he'll be off like as happens in football. Long term don't happen at cfc I am afraid.
God I hate this league.

Just a thought, but would they try to sell both Hird and Evans? Would Turner be brought in on a consultant basis to get a fee? Commission based?

Let's face it, Evans will not be commanding a fee of any significance in the near future, he's spent half the season injured and hasn't scored for ages. Plus his beloved United are off up to the championship so I doubt they'll want his services in that league. Best we'll get is a nominal fee from someone looking to take a punt on him but it certainly won't be big.

Hird has signed a years extension, although that means he has as a value in the summer!!

Well, all he has on his CV for this season is the word "failure" twice - at Wigan and Chesterfield.

He's got a lot of making up to do before a bigger club shows any interest at all.

I'd love to think he eventually makes me feel that I'm sorry he has moved on rather than I'm sorry he hasn't been moved on.

Can't help but feel the manager we should have appointed is managing the opposition tomorrow. And, he lives locally.
