In the light of the main sponsor of CFC, firstly B2NET then re-branded as Proact, you would have thought that people could have slept peacefully knowing that all data used on laptops, PC's, tablets, etc would have been backed up some sort of cloud... but then I'm idealistic in so many ways, and just a touch naive in others.

I'm guessing if LS printed a copy of the accounts, they would have been eaten by the dog or have important information covered up by non-toxic crayons...used by a child and not Chris Turner (just in case you were thinking it).

Just how plausible does LS think his "I lost my homework on the way to the auditors" actually is?

Sadly Liam Sutcliffe makes the fictional Walter Miitty out to be a plausible character.

The guy is so deluded he obviously is suffering from some sort of mental issue.

Why are dates so important to you, best get my FA coaching badges out for you and check them

I will be straight with anyone and if folks don't believe me then so be it

Ah, so dates are suddenly unimportant.

Is that your way of admitting 'fifteen years running a junior set-up' was a lie, then?

And 'get my FA coaching badges out for you and check them'?

Oh dear, how desperate.

Your 'partner' Sutcliffe has plenty of badges, but I think we all know how much they're really worth.

Let's see how valid your word is over the next few months, shall we?

I find it more than coincidental that you have suddenly resorted to fairly prolific posting on this board since your company has had a recent trading agreement with CFC confirmed.

Is it just a case of you trying to curry more favour with Mr.Carson ?

You get funnier

Well I know my son started at the training school when he was 5 and he is now 19 this year so when I went to school that is 14 years

I should have put nearly 15 would that have been more accurate for you?

Not desperate at all why would I be?

Suttcliffe isn't my partner but I agree with what your saying there, wait a minute did I actually agree with you on something

Errr yes you will just have to see

Anyway boxing done

Have a good evening

But again you're squirming.

You claimed to've run a junior football outfit for fifteen years.

When you and I ran the under eight side, as equal partners however you might've seen it, you had no official position other than joint coach with me.

That was at most eleven years ago.

And by the way, because I've maintained friendships with parents and players alike I've more than enough witnesses to vouch for that.

Hey, I'm sure even Andy and Julesey might back me up, too.

If you've done well since then I'm happy for you - no, really, I mean it, from one Town fan to another.

But come on, Steve - if you can't be straight about petty things how can folk take you seriously over the serious stuff?

Ayup Chris long time no speak and of course happy to oblige

I was having a private meeting with AC on some IT stuff I needed to talk to him about but was happy to sit and listen, do you have a problem with it or was it so confidential? I left early in the end as I had to coach kids football and had to do it the following day due to how long the meeting was.

I can guess where that has come from, perhaps you shouldn't listen to idle gossip, sometimes people put red herrings out there to find out the source. To say I boast in the lounge is a bit much but I understand Chinese whispers.

Well first I don't have the time or qualifications I guess to run the academy, what I do have is the expertise of running a successful junior football club for 15 years.

You will know that their are a lot of cost cutting excercises going ahead at the moment and I assume this will include the academy, losing over £100,000 a year is not sustainable ? I am sure you agree with that.

If I am asked for my opinion or help with it then yes I will Help.

There are some things that in the pipeline for the Summer but until that has been agreed neither you or anyone else will know until it is announced.

Sorry but I trust the views of those who have proved so successful in outing all the wrongdoings exposed so far way more than your views. Honesty and integrity go far far further than trying to get a seat at the top table. I actually think that by trying to tie in with those in charge people let themselves down so much with the rank an file. I know who I side with, and likewise many others.

The bottom line is that at the moment anyone who tries tie themselves in with Carson and Allen is tarred with the same brush...more interested in self promotion rather than the long term future of the club.

I actually find it quite sickening that some folk would try to get a foot under the table with the present regime rather than stand with those who try to do the right thing and look to the future.

Me too mate, but sadly it's all too common. It gets ever harder trying to raise kids with decency and integrity when it seems so many around us are out for themselves.

Couldn't agree more. I've seen some serious bottom kissing at the club, cringeworthy 'please like me' get in with the crowd action, it makes you want to gag. Respect and dignity lost.
The ones at the top won't give a s**t deep down, they'll still keep their cards close to their chest, and the brown nosers who are sickeningly balls deep in those at the top just look like shallow pretentious morons.

Steve,

In the director's report, Sutcliffe claims that he had difficulty collecting payments from parents resulting in him writing off circa £100K. In the meeting, the liquidator asked him to quantify over what period, it was confirmed over 24 months.

Now if you or I were writing off £1K in fees every week for 2 years, this would be priority number one in our businesses. Meetings, telephone calls, letters, emails, etc until the problem was rectified.

Given that Sutcliffe's was using a CFC email address up until recently, I am assuming all emails sent & received are sat on a server somewhere making it easy to establish how much of an issue these unpaid fees were impacting on his business?

If required, can the data be extracted for the liquidator?

The issue with BB is that many contributors will ask questions and then conduct their own research to establish the facts.

At the fans' forum on the 9th Nov, there was representation from BB, Facebook and the Bridge Inn Travel. We know which group asked the questions that needed asking and continue to do so.

Interesting to see that someone on the fans group on facebook is suggesting that the new kitman is a former employee of the Sheffield Assay Office and has been appointed on a higher salary than the retired Steve McVann, despite having no previous experience in this role.

If this is correct it's surely another example of "a job for the boys".

Ashley Carson please clarify whether this is correct or an ill founded rumour ?

Well that tallies with a rumour currently doing the rounds, my friend.

It goes something along the lines of the former kitman recommending a bloke currently doing the job at Leicester to replace him, a suggestion passed by CT to AC who initially agreed.

However AC has supposedly performed a U-turn employing a person from the Assay Office, with no experience, at a higher salary than had been agreed for the Leicester chap.

Now let me say again this is merely gossip and I'm happy for AC, or anyone knowing the facts, to clarify. Funny thing is, though, the story apparently emanates from someone who's recently found himself with a great deal of time on his hands...

The club has been successful and when you look at how many players have gone into other Academy's and Centre of excellences then yes we are happy how they have developed under us.

Me personally, I've had 7 players go to professional clubs and some are still there so not bad to say I still coach and didn't jack it in.

We will wait to see about the Academy but the loss making of it has to stop, surely you must agree with that as you speak to Mark a lot more than me.

I wish your club continued success, but players can't progress to the CFC Academy 'cos there won't be one.

I find it very disconcerting that you are entering into secret negotiations with Ashley about an intrinsic part of the CFC structure. The fact that you seem confident that nowt can stop them is even more sinister. There are other Directors for instance, who might respond to lobbying. Who are you to say that 'the loss making of it has to stop'? No it doesn't - not necessarily. Meanwhile, you are conducting business with a man that knows three fifths of bugggger all about either Academies or IT.

I would advise Chris to do just as you say, get the facts from Mark Smith. Meanwhile others might be conducting research into why Highlander lost it's IT contract.
Get it on, bang the gong , get it on

This is one of the problems with, excuse the phrase, "non-club people" becoming involved via a third party who opens the door. The seduction of 'a role or job title' in professional football appeals to vanity and ego.

There's so many empty vessels that make a lot of noise, whilst the hard-working just go about their job in a quiet, dignified manner. For example, the coaches who left the DS/IA after being treated so badly have handled their business magnificently.
