Stinks.

Even at this stage you have to shake your head at the way it's carrying on.

I believe there are already two creditors who are willing to appoint fans / former members of staff as proxy voters.

Also given the suggestion that HMRC are said to be in this for £50K+, I would imagine they will also have a representative at the meeting.

The possibilities are endless.

There will be a Fans forum relating to CFC by invitation.

Why invitation, Ashley?

Who's deciding the list of invitees?

Weren't all previous meeting attended by a delegation of fans?

And where does this leave talk of openness and transparency?
Never underestimate the stupidity of people

Ashley, you are in great danger of further antagonising the fan base............just be open for goodness sake.

....and Why has CFCFDS failed, Mr Liquidator?

The Liquidator 'should investigate the causes of the company's failure and the conduct of its managers, in the wider public interest of action being taken against those engaged in commercially culpable conduct'

How can he possibly do that before the 1st March? Ashley, on the other hand, wants it to be a simple rubber stamping watershed arrangement with a Liquidator he is paying for.

I have a feeling creditors will be more clued up than Big L by the time the meeting starts.

Is this true?

What, Carson personally or using CFC funds?

Shouldn't Turner and Sutcliffe be liable?

Or 'FBT'?

And doesn't such a scenario offer the suggestion it'll be a rushed, perhaps lightly investigated liquidation?

From what I'm reading here Turner, Sutcliffe and anyone else involved should, by law, be held to account for their enterprise failing so badly by a liquidator appointed to represent creditors.

I think it's time for independent legal people and possible law enforcement to start getting involved.........of course if the house is in order then that should be welcome by all at CFC.

It would appear that Sutcliffe is also popular with the FA, a 6 point deduction issued today for fielding unregistered players. I suppose AC & CT didn't know that was going on either!

Small point but isn't the Chesterfield U21's Mark Smith's remit and nothing to do with the fiasco across the road?

Nothing whatsoever to do with MS, however it's an easy assumption to make.

There''s the chance that CT and or AC could end up being disqualified as being future directors in any business if this goes the wrong way for them.
God I hate this league.

If HMRC is a creditor, that could be interesting. It used to be that HMRC debts were preferential but not any more. HMRC can be pretty aggressive. May not give the liquidator an easy ride.

It's my strong opinion that if the liquidator thoroughly pursues it's role there'll be no job he can still do.

On a side note do the Royal Mail still subcontract certain jobs?

It appears Sutcliffe is out of the equation going by this FBT tweet yesterday

"We are in the process of recruiting people who are able to recruit players to our academy from around the world"

Have you made contact with Mike Hegarty?

Update: Still awaiting reply from Mike Hegarty of FBT, to my e mail asking for clarification of Liam Sutcliffe's situation.
