The problem isn't the lies, it's the reasons for them.

A succession of chancers and opportunists have been embraced on Sheff Road when they simply shouldn't have.

A catalogue of events have happened on Sheff Road when they simply shouldn't have.

A series of scandals have occurred on Sheff Road when they simply shouldn't have.

The lies are the symptom; Town employees indulging in unacceptable behaviour is the disease.

It occurs to me that nobody has ever asked whether Turner received pay as a Director of the DC.
Presumably if it goes into liquidation, creditors are allowed to ask questions like that.

Have you made contact with Mike Hegarty?

I e mailed him on 7th February, I am still to receive a reply.

I am happy to copy the e mail here should anyone wish me to.

The timing of Sutcliffe's move sideways is interesting to say the least. A great deal of emphasis has been placed on the bailiffs visit on 02/02/17, but why? I believe a bailiff & film crew were on site back in 2015 relating to monies owed to a former member of staff and at the fans' forum on 09/11/16, CT indicated that there had been a recent visit too.

Also, at the AGM last week, did I hear AC say that the CCJ issued against CFC 2001 had been set aside by the court? I've checked this morning and although paid, it's still showing on the company's credit file.

See this link here which details FBT's involvement with Doncaster Rovers, http://www.thestar.c...-fbt-1-7716666.

You will notice that the article suggests that FBT will manage Doncaster's club shop and ticket office, some might say a glorified sponsorship deal. I wonder how similar/dissimilar FBT's arrangement with CFC International Football Academy is when compared to their deal with Donny?

Nearly 21 weeks have passed since FBT's share acquisition was announced by the club (http://www.chesterfi...my-3321943.aspx) and there is still no indication at Companies House to suggest that this is actually reality.

This company that has taken over, why are they happy to foot the bill for losses in a company they don't own? How's that work?

When/if it does eventually get registered the date of acquisition will be interesting to say the least

Also the finance/admin function of the company was said to be moving to Barnsley, so why haven't the unpaid debts been dealt with, specifically the ones where CCJs have been issued which risk the follow up of visits from High Court bailiffs?

Reading this board, it's not like they didn't know.

They and Ashley say they have taken over. It's only Companies House that beg to differ.

My take on this is that somebody has to pay the remaining losses before liquidation is confirmed, otherwise the fact that CFC is the only creditor to receive all it's money back looks distinctly iffy to the Liquidator.

As I've intimated previously, who would ever know if CFC pay them back later?
All this in order to distance CT from the s**t.

Sheffield Telegraph bit by Biggs :-

Alan Biggs was the first to release this story. I wonder where he got the info from?

Reading the article, Biggs clearly refers to a share acquisition in the old company (the one with the debt), CFC Football Development School Ltd. What a b6llock to drop!

I can't find any evidence to date that a liquidator has been appointed.

Moondog,

Any update on the outstanding payments to parents?

Something I've been pondering.

Surely it would've been Mark Smith's 'official' academy supposedly using the DS's facilities. So, you'd think he'd be able to confirm just how many times that happened and why their own pitches were unavailable. One or twice seems reasonable - but tens of thousands of pounds worth of times over at least two seasons?

Then would the money paying for that usage go from the Academy's account to the DS's? That might in some way explain why it's apparently so costly to run if true.

I know Carson said he'll answer no more questions on the DS but maybe it can be brought up at the next 'Fans' Forum' - is there still a place available, by the way? And when's one scheduled?

Yes Mike Hegarty from FBT is supposed to be writing to them asking them to confirm back how much they are owed with a view to arranging payment.

Fireworks then if whoever supplied the DS's facilities is now a creditor. Turner/Sutcliffe took CFC's money and paid it somewhere else.

Ashley is organising a Fans Forum but is making discrete enquires amongst your mates about when you are on holiday.

Booth & Co have been appointed as the official liquidator of CFC Football Development School Ltd.

A number of former members of staff and some supporters are now in a very, very difficult position.

A meeting of creditors to be held within 14 days of the resolution being passed; and then a statement of affairs to be filed at Companies House within 5 days of this meeting.

Will be interesting......

Presumably, such statement will be free for public consumption?

Presumably, unless they've recovered the £8k ish owed, CFC will attend the creditors meeting?
