Let's forget plan A and plan B Ashley and anything else you want to call it.

If Allen is serious about selling the club let's just get in with it and prioritise doing that. For a start let's see some proper advertising of the club being up for sale and secondly let's market it at it's true value as an insolvent club.

He has to do this, asking an unrealistic price sends out so many wrong messages it's slowly killing the club and ruining what credibility he has left

Yesterday was embarrassing, we've weakened the squad in January , it's never going to get better till da sells the club , if he doesn't we'll be heading to non league this time next season with no more than 3000 season tickets sold in the summer

I'd hazard a guess at a further 1.5 mill of debt to cover and the few mill he delusional thinks we'll get for Ched.

You know what, I don't think DA wants to sell the club.

Why, because who in their right mind would want to spend anywhere near 15 mil.

I can't see the logic though, his value is going to drop like a stone in League 2 so he will get nowhere near his valuation.

Surely it would have benefitted him to spend in the January window to keep us up ?

Spot on.

If you take Allen's position at face value, the question has to asked, why he doesn't see this mess as one big liability to him and his family?

Why does Allen value his position as the owner and the football club itself so highly? What are the benefits of owning a business which is monumentally broken in every way possible?

Your into this, and have research on Sheffield Wednesday, often citing comparisons. In layman terms for those not so knowledgeable what exactly happened at Hillsborough. I always thought he was hounded out for wanting to run the club on profitable basis and not blow loads of money. Is this view wrong? Was Carson involved and what's his relationship to Allen?

It they wish, people can read, research, and form their own conclusions, as some of us have.

What I will say, I don't feel at all comfortable with how the club has been run or with some of the individuals who are involved.

What makes it worse is that DA could so easily have made himself an absolute hero here.

He gets some hammer on here (just like the rest of us who stick their head above the parapet) but to his credit Les Ashmore made a good point at the AGM: does every extra quid DA loans mean the price goes up by that amount too?

It's potentially a very vicious circle.

Presumably it's because he has been advised that his total investment has not crossed the red line that indicates he can't get it back through a sale. Meanwhile, interest payments give him a handy income.

Any idea what his net investment result was at Wednesday?

Problem is that's a very fluid line and only a potential purchaser can decide where it is.

And whilst it's claimed Allen's wealth means he must know exactly what he's doing his performance at Town tells us otherwise.

He's human; he's fallible; he makes mistakes.

Unfortunately our club is suffering as a result of those mistakes.

This is a whole sorry state of affairs and yes, what's happened to £9million? In a years time it will be 16 million. Our only hope is from the middle east!! at this price anyway.

Is it possible to shift money about so that it becomes, let's say 'lost' to the business? Just asking like.

I don't think there is any interest in selling the club unless it is for the big money. There is an end game for DA in that if he secures the ground he can grind us into the floor with rent charges similar to Coventry. I honestly feel that there is bitterness towards us because we haven't just sat back quietly and allowed the status quo to carry on in the manner thats been uncovered.

There is a complete lack of acceptance from the board as to there lack of business acumen whilst running our club. As fans we take the good times but at the end of the day you never understand the true state of the business as regards profitability. DA has recently said the stadium haemorages costs ? does that include all the non football wages. They have entered into a ground maintainance deal - I'd love to know the costings against Ant and his team but here again the old boys network whisperings rear there ugly heads.

Then you look at all the stadia concerts and there end result profit wise. We seem a soft touch for anyone who comes in and promises the earth, it's a conmans dream.

Finally on the playing side, look how we changed managers at the Proact, if we are haemoraging loses how bonkers are those decisions.

If there is a genuine intention of finding a buyer we'll do very well to get a deal whereby DA has no involvement.

God I hate this league.
