One game with the new players, yes it was terrible but things could improve as they settle in

All is not lost, yet

We haven't got a Peter Clarke. A strong leader, no nonsense player who drags his team along. We haven't got one.

At least Faupala was getting the ball in the right areas...in the box. He was unlucky with one attempt & at least he attempted to challenge the keeper when crosses came in..

I didn't see Ched do anything of use!!!

I saw nothing from him tbh. No better than what we had on the bench. That says it all. He won't score us goals.

Writing players off after one appearance - makes perfect sense

Hopefully it improves, bit we could do with it improving very quickly. We are in the midst of a run of fixtures against out of form teams down this end Of The table, every one we don't win makes it that much harder to survive.
If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything!

Yeah, you're right. I will make judgement in a couple more games then. Hope I'm wrong, but that's my first impression.

Two positives today - both Jones and Angel.

Plus the lad from Man Utd at RWB. On today's showing he looked a decent aquisition.

Positive that he was back. It's better that he's available than not being, surely??I don't love him, just to be clear.

He had little game time today but looked composed on the ball, looked for the easy outlet and kept it moving. Nothing dramatic but basic, necessary stuff. And none of the frantic, erratic stuff we sometimes see from players like Gardner.

Evans movement is very good. He threw a dummy in the first half to let Jones down the line which took about four players out of the game.
There's no doubt his scoring record is poor but his movement up top to create space for others is second to none. Problem is most folk don't see that part of his game.

He's paid to play as a centre forward. If you're not getting any service, which he generally isn't, you work to open space for others. He is fantastic at this but it's something people neglect to either see or appreciate.

 Until the clowns in charge are given the boot the club is only going one way.Bringing in a load of loan players was never going to be the answer to survival.

Everyone in our situation is signing loan players. It is hit and miss

I wonder just how much Caldwell (or any manager for that matter) knows what he getting. It strikes me as pot luck relying on other peoples opinion most of the time unless yo are Swindon who probably have had the pick of the top academy players again.
