Sheridan also did not agree in 'over doing' players training & fitness......it's old school.
Like Paul Cook, Gary Caldwell will be a breath of fresh air to CFC......it's obvious today's game is built on high tempo, closing down tactics, built on pure fitness.

somebody was saying in the pub last night that fitness can be subjective - a player has to conserve energy to last 90 minutes. One manager might perceive the player to have wasted energy doing unnecessary work whilst a different manager might demand that that same work is a priority, even if another part of his game suffers. I suspect that GC doesn't think they are unfit. He thinks that they are using their scarce energy on the wrong things at the moment ie unable to carry out his instructions and tactics for a whole match.

Nice one.
Thanks for asking about SEB. It appears that despite being available for selection since the close season for 2 clubs, he still requires extra fitness sessions before he can participate in a footy match. I reckon he's had about £3k x 52 x 2 = £350k of our money and he's been useful to us for about 6 months. I hope the balance comes off CT's bonus.
PS Still no update on what's happened to Liam Graham.

I'd like to know if there's a contractual agreement to play Anderson when he's fit. Looking at the goals from Saturday the defence is shambolic. We'll see if Hird plays next game.
