At the risk of raising yet another item which questions our professionalism, how can this be right?
I'm no expert but if I was in charge of fitness I'd look for which ever key indicators from our computerised back packs informed me whether players are fit or not. Having seen Simmons completely whacked for the second half last Satday, it seems Ashley and the new manager are correct.

"We keep hearing they're too good for relegation"- who says? At the moment, this squad is not too good to go down and few (if any) have said it is. Only a very surprising week or so of transfer activity would convince me otherwise.

Not necessarily. I remember when Sheridan was manager I think it was mentioned somewhere that Shinner didn't have the access to the players he wanted. It could be that DW was the same, not allowing MP to do what he thought was reqd.

Apparently Mal Purchase is working part-time due to personal issues, or so AC said on Facebook. AC also said Shinner is not going to return.

Pretty much what I was gonna say. That's what makes me laugh with all the 'get shinner back' brigade. We would probably have had a fitter team if we trained a bit more under DW (and played keep ball during matches)

From Shane Nicholson on Twitter about a week ago (who I expect knows what he's talking about)
"Mal is a very good fitness coach, he shouldn't take blame for performances. Players should take a look at themselves..👍🏼"
