Well for starters you'd think any further sources of credit would dwindle to zero.

Which raises questions over why AC and CT would loan someone even they themselves described as deceitful tens of thousands.

We then have to wonder why 'FBT' would tolerate someone with Sutcliffe's record.

Once again the suspicious can't be blamed for thinking Sutcliffe starting a new business - the 'International Academy' - when there was no real need suggests he's intended winding-up the original enterprise for quite some time.

Looks like AC and CT were dupped then to me.
God I hate this league.

That in itself raises questions about their own intelligence and suitability to hold their post.

I would suggest it raises questions not about their suitability but the motives behind the unstinting support this organisation has received, and continues to receive.

Forget the idiot Turner, he's a sap, a patsy. He couldn't run rings around a packet of hula hoops without tripping up over his own feet. He's an imbecile who is there to act as the clubs aunt Sally. Throw tomatoes at this idiot while we pull your pants down without you noticing.

Carson is the man. He is Allens man. What motive would the regime, Ie, Dave Allen, have for not only tolerating, but supporting both institutionally and financially?

Do they get a cut, or first refusal on registration on any players? Are they banking on finding a player from China/Africa/ Asia and the potential fee for a song or a drogba mean anything is tolerated because of greed?
A new hope.

That's one of the most disturbing things I've read on here.
That's criminal it really is.

£700 a month?!
WTF!!

Barnet host trials for a company called Football CV which are basically an open trial (Barnet just host it and nothing to do with them- other venues also host them). Loads of (professional) scouts go officially (not jokers like this Liam geezer). If your son is deemed good enough he will make it.

Avoid scams like the £700 (WTF!!!) one like the plague

Thanks, have taken a look at their website :)

Thank you.

How was GoPro brought into the equation and was there a cost associated with the trial?

We were notified by GoPro via email that he had impressed and Chesterfield wanted him to come for a trial the following weekend. There was a cost for the trial of £80.00, most of which I'm assuming went to GoPro.
At the time I didn't think that was too harsh, as rarely is anything free in life :ninja:

The Development Centre has a string of unsatisfied CCJ's lodged against it, totalling £20k+ with the latest once being issued last week (just under £6k). Add to that the repayment plans its said to have in place with some other debtors, it doesn't take a business degree to work out that without another huge injection of funds, its about to come crashing down.

And that's without any other major debts creeping* out of the woodwork.....

*for creeping read smashing out in a cloud of dust

So, is the original enterprise now dormant?

I wonder what has happened to their computers? Has Ashley got access to them?

Seized by Turner and Carson? That should make huge inroads into the £60k they are owed.

Well if we're speculating about what might've happened to any computers, possibly even ones donated to the 'fake' academy by a friendly IT partner, I wouldn't trust a certain someone not to've flogged off a couple pocketing the cash whilst keeping the other for himself.

But of course there's absolutely no proof of that and it's just my suspicious and cynical nature talking...

My guess is that the money has been used to pay DC debt to CFC.

How would it look if a company set up by CT went bust owing CFC money?

Because they understood how bad it would have looked if the DC folded, owing the club a shed load of money?

If that was the case, and club money HAS been used to prop up the failing DC, especially given how tight money is this season, you can understand why they'd want to cover it up!!

If CFC Football Development School Ltd was liquidated, it will be interesting for two reasons:

1) A creditors list will be published detailing who is owed what, for example the amounts outstanding to AC & CT, etc.

2) The Liquidator's report which will detail why the business has failed. For the ex staff, parents, scholars and creditors, I suspect that could make for a very interesting read.

But what'll be done about it?

When will those guilty of mismanagement, lies, deceit and scandal be held responsible?

Was the term 'zero tolerance' just another hollow platitude?

It's my belief that Ashley Carson is aware of and/or in a position to investigate allegations.

The time for words is over; it's now time for decisive action.
