The odds and a poll - would you have Cook back?

Presumably, this thread has caused mile hysteria hence why PC is now laughably 6/4 favourite!!

Me thinks someone at the DT is trying to bump someone elses price back up a bit!

Good work, chaps!

Just trying to keep the bookies off the scent so I can keep putting bets on eventual appointee Ally McCoist.

When you think about the ex directors who have resigned, the longer this goes on you have to wonder if their appetite to get involved again will diminish over time, I think mine would. They can now turn up on a Saturday afternoon, watch a game of football and go home without the hassle of being involved.

Quiz question: what links these two CFC employees?

PS: current and former directors of CFC development school may not enter this competition.

And this is what really boils my p/$$ about some footballers:

Quote

Gardner knows it’s important to make a good impression, but not just on Saturday.

“Obviously there are a lot of us out of contract and we’re playing for our futures”

Why does he feels the need to make an impression now? Why is it with just over 5 months remaining on contracts that they feel the need to "earn" a new one - has it only just clicked?

Show me a player who's in-form and consistent and I'll show you a player who will have a new contract offered because a club wants to keep him. And they don't see the connection between playing consistently well and being away from the relegation places...

It just highlights the malaise and culture within the club. Ah well, if we go down I just might have secured a contract elsewhere so it's all good...

My guess is they both have some connection with the development school relating to money but one has put some in and one has has taken some out
Only a guess

It is frustrating but I think that's a universal footballer trait that work rate his up a few notches when the contract starts ticking down... as it does for a few when transfer windows open...
