Perhaps Sir Rodney should be approached for comment.

Better still Alan Biggs.

This LS character must be one hell of a brilliant coach if is coaching skills outweigh his negative points.

Well it's good to see that our friends over the road have started 2017 in a similar fashion to 2016!

CCJ registered on 06/01/17 for £9,762 and that's on top of the £12,870 registered on 14/11/16 which remains unpaid.

Hmmm. £22632 and rising. Didn't that Managing Director interviewed by the DT say he had a duty to get on top of this?

We're only three or so weeks away from this thread's first anniversary.

Closely followed by the first anniversary of Chris Turner and Liam Sutcliffe telling our friend 'Spireitenag' all debts had been paid.

There've been numerous subsequent claims, none more so than when Sutcliffe sat in front of the watching...well, probably a couple of dozen and told Alan Biggs everyone had received their money.

Yet the unpaid bills continue to mount.

Ashley Carson has done well to remove many public links between CFC and this utterly discredited individual, however a year on huge questions remain unanswered.

Exactly what financial transactions took place between an enterprise where Chris Turner was a director and the football club of which he was CEO?

If subsidies were supplied have they been fully repaid?

Have any CFC employees ever received money from that enterprise?

Were trips for which money was demanded from parents ever booked in the first place?

If 'FBT' own a fifty percent shareholding who owns the other fifty percent (and have records at Companies House been updated, yet)?

And something we'll all be able to see with our own eyes this Saturday - will someone even AC dubbed a liar still be allowed a double page spread in the official matchday programme?

I wonder if it is possible to estimate after 1 year how much Turner's ineptitude in this area has cost CFC?
He said the DC/PPP would be 'very profitable'. Then we heard he had been lied to. What is the magnitude of this wonderful lost opportunity? Can the idea be resurrected by competent management or has he filed a patent?

For the record the eponymous subject of this thread once again enjoyed a double page spread in the matchday programme, penned by someone dubbed a liar by AC, despite yet more CCJ's.

Apparently the term zero tolerance has zero meaning when uttered by some...

The thing is Chris, are we really surprised by this? The majority of fans have no confidence in those running the club and certainly take most of what they say with a pinch of salt.

I have read a copy of a letter sent to CT by an ex employee of the Development Centre in December 2015.

The employee wrote (amongst other things):-
1. that they were having to work excessive hours in order to provide a service to the DC.
2. that DC employees had not be paid on time.
3. that they had been harassed by creditors demanding to be paid.
4. that morale amongst the scholars and other staff was very low.

CT's immediate response was that he would confront Sutcliffe at once about the claims and provide feedback.
He never did.

He did however issue a media statement supporting Sutcliffe and condemning the actions of his former coaches in May 2016.

What was the date given by AC/CT at the Fans' Forum that they found out that LS had lied to them?

Sutcliffe lied to me face to face when questioned about unpaid debts/CCJs on three separate occasions.

It would be nice if Biggs got involved with a re-interview regarding all people owed monies being paid. I'll not hold my breath.

Like you, earlier this year I was informed by a former senior employee of the DC who had contacted CT to request a meeting to discuss concerns regarding financial and operational matters. Not only has that meeting not took place, the request to meet has not even been acknowledged.

In my opinion the disaster of the management of the Development Centre is the major stumbling block to Ashley's desire for a new start. Amongst many other unanswered questions, the simple timeline example described above suggests we have been misled. Ashley's plan to wash his hands of the issues as it is now under new management won't wash.

If Ashley were to offer me and my BB colleagues a meeting to thrash this out, I for one would agree to it with a promise of support and a clean sheet if I feel that honesty has prevailed.

Agreed.

I think people can be forgiven for asking why a meeting has not taken place and speculating as to the reasons why.

All of which rides a coach and horses through Turner's claim of ignorance at last November's fans forum.

So he, in his capacity of director, was warned long before scandals began to emerge yet not only denied issues but blamed former employees?

And did he report any of those warnings to the CFC Board who'd endorsed an enterprise closely associated with the Club?

I fully echo the sentiment that there can be no new start without full disclosure of events on Sheff Road.
