7 goals in 16 games in a poor side says he ain't bad. Shot like a canon, strong as any forward we see st this level. Can run with the ball.
Then take into account not the mad money that's about, the rash signings, who can say someone won't pay £1M, although more likely next summer.

Talk pre-trial was that Ched had signed for the season and the Extra season extension was very much "ball in the clubs court, subject to trial".
Rumours circulated he was on something like £500 per week basic and simply grateful of the chance to ressurect his career, with a view to a pay rise suitable to a "average level" on signing of the years extension on receiving of a "not guilty" verdict.
Indeed, I was told pre-trial by a prominent club figure personally that Cheds deal was very much in the clubs favour, he was prepared to commit a full season to the club (trial permitting) as a "thank you" for giving him the chance again that the club would invoke the extension, on receipt of a (fully expected) not guilty verdict.
Here we are 2 months after such verdict and although he has struggled with fitness, he's got the verdict he so long claimed was the right one and no confirmation of any extension.
So, can one assume one of the following;
we've agreed to sell him, maybe even against his wishes or commitment?
We're not prepared to invoke his extension as we don't want to increase the seemingly already struggled wage bill?
We're waiting to give him the chanc to prove his fitness over a sustained period before invoking his extension?
We've alrady agreed a fee with team "A" so " Don't need" to extend his current deal?

It was stated at that fans forum Evans's contract extension option weighted in our favour.
If you actually believe that, then that mere fact might up his value in Jan without us having to activate it and actually commit to a better contract.
Who knows, the whole situation is top secret

Try to be more discreet if you are going to do that. You could end up with a banning order.

(Puts down massive pinch of salt).
No way would Sharp come here. He must be worth way more than Evans anyhow, as Sharp is doing it at this level, now.
Just did a quick search and Biggs reckons he took massive pay cuts to seal his last couple of transfers, so perhaps he will come and play at Town for a grand a week after all:
