Apologies if this has been asked before, but why is Ricky not listed in the team on the official site.

I imagine it's because the OS is generally not up to date when it comes to player profiles (and other stuff too).

Side note; still can't believe we're using the same website layout, it's looked like sh** for the past however many years.

I think it's been raised before and I'm sure it's a league-wide deal, we just control the output content.

Yeah think I remember something about that. If that's the case then it's pretty pathetic that whoever is in charge of such things has never provided an updated layout. I remember when it first got used I laughed and thought wow this is dreadful, surely an update will be provided soon but nope it's still pretty much the same years on.

When i was involved with the club website the squad pages were a real bind the Press Association controlled that bit of the site and it could take numerous requests to get players details on which was fun with loan players many times they appeared after they had returned etc

Hopefully the new site might be more under the clubs control

We've been under contract up to the end of this season. It should be changing soon, but it is hosted by the football league so they have 72 or so to deal with.

To be hoped the new site's fixtures, results and table area is written by a stats type geek rather than someone with a media background; as a site like soccerbase knocks the socks of the FL output for past results, scorers, teams and attendances. As does Statto when it comes to past seasons, 'custom tables' and form tables.

A big thumbs up for the separate CFC history site though.

It's no soccerbase, but our stats centre isn't bad - http://www.derbyshir...ixtures-results

Hope not. We'd somehow lose money on the deal.
