yep. Danny Wilson. It's very naïve to base your analysis on Peak's coverage.

He'd be a good keeper for Sunday league.

For the lad's own sake, he's potentially a good keeper. Needs loaning out by Liverpool to a conference team to get his confidence. Wilson should be sacked for signing him in the first place.

Not going to happen is it? A tugboat centre mid at right back, a young centre half still learning his trade at left back, usain bolt and justin gatlin centre halves.

Imo the reason for the signing was simple
Instead of signing an experienced backup to cover for Tommy DW went for Fulton because Liverpool said they
would pay his wages if he played the majority of matches hence Fulton having to play and All inson only playing a few matches every
now and again
With a free agent keeper needing to be paid by DA whilest Tommy was out it was a no brainer really
The situation has not been helped either by Tommy being out for possibly longer than was at first thought
hence the inexperienced Fulton playing more matches and learning his trade at our expense something
we do not need at this moment in time

Peak reported that one of them had gone through Fulton's hands. That's the basis of Walton's post.

If you look at 5 out of the 7 goals scored, there is a strong argument to run that team's at this level should be encouraged to shoot far more often from distance, rather than going the route of the intricate failed passes and poor crosses we see regularly.

Agreed - I think from the Seven goals scored, only two are in the box.

Imagine, you are the manager, you've been told your budget has been cut yet the biggest part of same budget is already taken up with injured players and players you don't want. You have a need to try and strengthen the squad but can't afford to offer a reasonable wage to any player with real experience. Your first choice goalkeeper is out of action and Liverpool offer you an under 21 Scottish international free of charge on the condition that when fit he plays until your first team keeper is available. So, what do you do bearing in mind you don't have the benefit of hindsight?
