Quite a big gig for your first one imo. I've always believed you should cut your teeth at teams like Newport, Barnet, Mansfailed etc in the bottom league (tiny tinpot clubs) or non league level and learn the hard way (which will serve you well in the future). Cracking gig if he gets it, but in the real world he wouldn't land a managers job at a firm equivalent of MK without the experience of management.

A role very suited to Ryan Giggs.

I love this part...

Take Antonio Conte. He was a decorated player for Juventus but he took the manager’s job in 2011 with a mixed managerial record in Italy and a lack of experience at the highest level. There were many amongst the Juventus team who doubted his credentials.

Yet, in his autobiography, Andrea Pirlo said that Conte needed only one speech to convince him and his teammates. ‘When Conte speaks, his words assault you,’ he said of him. ‘They crash through the doors of your mind.’

Now, can anybody see Steven Gerrard words assaulting your mind like that. Sorry, but you'd probably be half asleep (I know I would).
I don't like the bloke, but our very own ex-chairman's got charisma in abundance and that imo is why he's successful in business. He's combined this and his arrogance to a fine art and used it to get him where he is today.

Our ex-chairman's charisma hasn't made him successful in this business.

Look at it this way...

Darren Brown came in promised good things, gave us good football and robbed us blind while we all fell for it.
Dave Allen came in and promised us good things, Championship football within five years and a club that would be financially sustainable.
