Exactly. If he is in situ on Saturday I really think now is the time for fans in the stands to make it vocally and visibly clear he isn't wanted. staggers me how he is still in a job and his silence and AC's silence regards him is even more baffling.

Absolutely spot on! I've recently entered into dialogue with AC however The fact that CT remains leaves me both flabbergasted and devoid of any confidence.

With the risk of boring everyone!! If the powers that be expect the fans to trust them at the moment Turner has to go! No point going over all the reasons again but he has been incompetent economic with the truth and needs to be far away from this club! As long as he is around I don't trust those in charge. I DONT want to boycott games the club needs every penny at tho moment. But if Turner is still here by Friday I'm not sure I'll be buying tickets for Saturday. Some will agree others won't.

Note the ire directed towards Turner gives fans a target for frustrations. However, is it also taking attention away from something else? Has it occurred that it might suit someone that fans are distracted with CT?

Something is happening, not sure what, but I have the feeling that we're only seeing the smallest part of it at the moment.

Not defending CT but as someone said to me the other day "DA has been reading The Art of War - winning the battle without a shot being fired"
If you tell the truth, you don't have to remember anything.

buy your ticket go to the game and shout "turner out" with many others i suspect. that way you are not boycotting the game and are getting yourself heard

We really are talking about the future of our club here. Now is not the time for petty name calling and digging heels in regarding our Chief Exec. Lets make sure we have club to support first, then and when we get some stability is the time to be vocal. We all need to pulling in the same direction. I honestly cant believe that with our club on the verge of going into admin fans are still talking about boycotting games because CT remains at the club.

really?

at what kind ratio?

I'd guess 99:1 and that's probably with a +/- 1 error margin

Hehe, that's what I thought when I read it.

Do I think too many fans are being sidetracked away from the main issues/ culprit with CT? Yes, we have far bigger issues that CT.
Do I think CT's job is untenable? Yes, especially as its a wage we don't need at this moment in time, and that's without going into the rest of it.

I can't see any fan being split on CT though tbh, other than maybe my first point, still the same outcome though

I almost agree with you, though I can't quite. Perhaps if you could help me out with what's stopping me, I will be able to agree with you... If fans go to the matches would this help the club/finances? Agree with the CT bit btw, it's my concern that's giving me my only doubts about returning.

I just think our problems are so much bigger than him. We are potentially talking about the future of the club so why jeapordise that with a boycott? Lets sort the clubs future out first then we can start (rightly) picking faults with CT et al along the way.

I'm all for going to the game on Saturday (not been to a home game since Northampton) + think that is a platform for protesting against Turner. A real vocal turn out would perhaps cast more doubt over his position as as of now I don't believe there has been much in the way of a vocal protest. Maybe Saturday is that time, buoyed on by a big crowd.

Don't let one man threaten the future of the club, the club is much bigger than him and i'm certain his time will eventually come.

Just out of interest, which individuals are you expecting to rescue the situation?

CT has definitely not joined the board and is NOT Vice Chairman.

I have asked Nick Johnson to tidy the layout up on the Web and remove Vice Chairman

Sorry for this

I have absolutely no idea. But if gate receipts, spend on the concourses etc is going to be a large % of income in the next few weeks I believe the fans can help out. Boycotting because of CT although understandable in some respects won't help the clubs short term cash flow problem. Longer term a solution is needed ( what that is, I have no idea) but in the short term I we as fans should back the club to the hilt - regardless of the CT situation.

Looks like Liddle and Wilson we be on Sky Sports later today or tomorrow. Obvious why they are showing interest and it aint just 8 defeats in the row

In the absense of any "board members" you would think the CEO would be the obvious choice. Laughable that he's hiding away, but very grateful

It's difficult trying to understand what to do for the best.

The situation that we find ourselves in is either a result of gross mismanagement or it is of our own creation. It's certainly not a result of a change in trading or the result of bad debt.

Either way, I find it moronic that we should place our trust in those individuals who have overseen this mess and believe that they can deliver a satisfactory conclusion whereby we avoid administration, CVA and the club & its assets (land/ground) remain in CFC 2001 Ltd.

swift action:

Although, it might have been prevalent to remove Jamie Hewitt from the list, too?

The posts this afternoon centre heavily around whether CT should be removed now or after the club has been stabilised.........there's that split. And whether they are right or wrong, a good number of fans will stay away whilst CT remains. So it's a no brainier, get rid of him now and get the fans all pulling in the same direction.

That might relieve your pent up frustration but nothing else. Turner is the equivalent of a deckchair attendant on the Titanic - the Captain is responsible for the sinking ship . You are targeting the wrong man but if the Captain goes the ship sinks anyway as things stand.
