Rather than us fans contemplating chucking in money to "rescue" the club...wouldn't it be nice if some of the players getting paid decent money for doing sweet fa this season and last actually came forward and said " you know what...I'm doing nothing for my wages at the moment, I know the club is in dire straits so I'll forfeit so much of my wages to help out" I'm not talking about those playing but playing crap, just referring to those getting paid but doing "nothing" might make me feel a bit more inclined to chuck some of my money in if this was the case.

I don't think it'd make a difference tbh, the same as the fans turning up in good numbers for the games, until we know what DA is up to we all could be chucking good money after bad, imo.

Silence from AC since the "interview" is deafening.

Lots of questions remain unanswered some of which are noted on here.

I think what is needed is a statement from one of the four directors who resigned telling us their side etc.

Wont they have signed a confidetiality clause?

It won't be 10p in the pound for him

If Carson is accurate in what he said, there is only one villain

There was plenty of new info

The 4 directors did everything DA demanded but that still wasn't enough

oh and we need £500K by Christmas

I think Dave Allen wanted out all a long Imo.because why did he not say anything at that board meeting before the AGM about resigning if he not get is way ? hope Ashley can find a way forward this week and I trust him to do the very best he can in a very difficult situation. all we can do is support the club and try and encourage people to go to the matches .i know it's a understatement but need to give club every bit of help we can.and how someone's out the with a spare £10 million .

The meeting was organised to gauge whether Ashley could make a breakthrough with supporters.
By the way, he still has an action point to tell us where CBC is with progress on their investigation into Rafflegate. He intimated that everything was rosy, but no confirmation has yet been forthcoming.

Imho the meeting was called purely to head off any protests at the televised game against the blades and lots fell for it hook line and sinker.

I can't see why they would have.

How do you find it, all I can see is a picture of his dog from the 30th

Mind you that is revealing, its sitting next to a signed Bowels top and some board games, amonst them 'Mid-life Crisis' and 'Football Board Game"

Isn't it the 'Wednesday corner' in his local? I must pay a visit sometime.

I don't understand how it's on my timeline due to someone's reply yet not listed under his Tweets.

Confirmed at meeting a couple of weeks ago that he hasn't actually taken it.

AC stated it remains in the clubs account.

What might the figure be, based on all the transfers this commission was available for? Does anyone have a conservative estimate?

Not sure that is a good thing, at least that would be one expense off the books if he had taken it. This way we have to pay him up on his exit.

What if we go into admin, does he still get it or doesn't it work that way?

I guess he be in the queue with the other unsecured creditors unless he is classed as a football creditor. That includes money owed to other clubs and footballers (I think), not sure about other employees.

I remember Duncan and Randall helping us out by waiving some of what they were owed after the last admin. Not bad given the abuse they suffered by the fans. Wonder if CT will do the same?

I think football related debts have to be payed before the club gets its golden share back from the league. The HMRC challanged that rule a few years ago and lost and I'm not anything has changed.
